Delicious food (super avocado toast!), great coffee, and such friendly service. So good I went twice on a recent trip to DC. The owner recognized me on day two and was so kind and welcoming. I especially appreciated their attention to COVID safety for their guests and their staff. I'll definitely be back. Can't recommend highly enough!

In town from Cincinnati and desperately needed a bite after going to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. My partner and I chose this place and it was freaking awesome. His grilled cheese and my sunflower toast were both PHENOMENAL and my iced earl grey/his quad shot "le jim" were both amazing! We had a lovely time. Love that they check vaccine cards for dine-in guests & require masks. Super sweet staff, great atmosphere. Felt very welcome and comfy. Thank you!!!!

I've never been to this location before & after my experience today I will not be coming back. I ordered an obscenely overpriced tomato soup and grilled cheese (mind you I have no problem spending money on GOOD food) The soup was straight up NOT good. it had absolutely no flavor. The grilled cheese was so buttery, my fingers looked like they had been dipped in a cup of grease... But worse of all, the experience was very UNPLEASANT. I was the only customer when I was ordering, yet the cashier insisted I showed them my vaccination card to dine in. Although the cashier was nice, the owner was very cold and abrasive, it really took me off guard. After ordering I really wanted to just cancel the order and leave.. but I wanted to give this spot a chance since the google reviews seemed decent and I work next door.... However I should've listened to my gut feeling. I honestly think most of these reviews are fake tbh.. NEVER COMING BACK.

I work just around the corner from this shop, and I make it my morning routine to always stop in and grab a quick cold brew and a tasty treat (try the banana bread, blueberry muffin, or avocado toast). Don’t forget to come back in the afternoon for a delicious selection of wines and other food like pan de queijo! I noticed in other reviews that some folks were uncomfortable with mask requirements; however, when you are a small business with a very small staff, extra precautions must be taken to ensure that people can stay healthy and continue to come to work. This isn’t just for the people working there, but for the customers. I’m happy to support this small business that puts the safety of its customers and staff first.

This is by far one of the cutest places in DC for a quick bite and coffee! The staff was amazing and seemed very familiar with their customers. The owner was there when I dropped by she was so nice and patient with my order...I had my two little indecisive ones with me. The food was great and the drinks were PERFECT! if you're ever around you must drop in the decor alone is worth it !!!
