This little place has everything you need! Hot food, cold drinks, coffee, Wi-Fi, dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating! I ordered a bacon and cheddar breakfast sandwich and it was ahhhhhmazing! Probably the best bacon I've ever had on a breakfast sandwich ever! Then i saw this massive chocolate chip cookie - and it too was soooo good! The little market has everything you need in case you forgot something or something comes up.

Solid spot to drop in for a sandwich and a coffee, breeze through for snacks, or putz around for scanning their vast beer and wine selection depending on your mood. Items are well priced and the staff is super friendly. The cafe does offer vegetarian and vegan sandwich options. The chai tasted strange. Their patio is cozy and a great place to hang out with a drink and a snack and people watch.

In a neighborhood called Ivy City is Union Kitchen, an incubator for local food and beverage companies. Union Kitchen Grocery is the store that sells their items and other local goods. This location is one of several locations and one of the largest. Located in Shaw, it doubles as a store and cafe. They sell local goods from alcohol to greeting cards to snacks. They have a grab-n-go area as well as a cafe that brews coffee and makes sandwiches, etc. If you have a sweet tooth, order their famous gooey chocolate chip cookie. It's very good! They have an area inside with tables, outlets, and wifi if you want to stay awhile. When the weather is nice, they have an outdoor patio.
