What a lovely place.
The business has a wonderfully divergent personality. The front part feels like you walked into a 1970s pizza joint for take-out. The second part is like a disco lounge that serves pizza and organic wine. The third part is an outdoor venue for all your good weather enjoyment.
The entire place is welcoming. The food (pizza and salads for us) is amazing. The drinks (flat and fizzy water, and beer) was great. The employees are appreciative and attentive. The crowd is an interesting mix (which leans hipster, but without expecting beard wax and a knowing wink).
I can't say enough good things about this place. Head beyond Howard Uni and experience the nexus of odd and great and delightful.
You made our visit to DC, which was already good, great. Thank you again for the experience.

Stumbled across this place as I was ordering carryout up the street at Eddie Leonard's on Sunday. The pizza was great... I Had a large pepperoni with basil and xcheese. I just finished eating the last slice today and it was just as if I ordered today. Follow the reheat instructions.

What an interesting restaurant design with 3 different restaurant settings rolled into one. A cafe/diner by day, and a speakeasy and pizza garden at night. They have delicious square pizzas and a good list of options for a night out!

Fun pizza spot with square styled pies. Can get them by the slide as well, which is really nice when you don't need a full pie. Fun atmosphere and good drinks, with a large outdoor area.

The pepperoni Sicilian slice is the best pepperoni slice I've ever had. It has so much flavor and bulk with a beautiful char.

Very cool place which shares an outdoor patio with Doubles coffee shop. Unique pizza. Crust is similar to their quality focaccia bread. Thicker than I normally like pizza crusts, but tasty.

Staying at an Airbnb near Howard University. The pizza was delicious; but it was a bit hard to eat. There was almost no crust to hold it by, and the bottom of the dough was a bit hard so cutting it wasn’t easy either. We also ordered the Farro and the mixed greens salad; both were pretty good, especially the farro. Overall, the taste was very flavorful, service was pretty quick, and it was a good experience.

I like the patio but the pizza is pretty subpar. Thick and soggy crust. Best thing was the caeser salad. Also portions are HUGE, so you get your money’s worth. One slice is sufficiently filling.
