Muzette Karaoke And Restaurant

Muzette is THE BEST karaoke spot in Washington, D.C., and it’s not even close. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate even the largest groups. We found ourselves spending what was probably 4+ hours there. A true melting pot in so many ways, as songs were sung by all in different languages. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING; I’d like to give a personal shout-out to Ciara and Brian (I apologize if I spelled your names wrong), as they were honestly so nice and helpful. The atmosphere in Muzette is unrivaled, especially when you compare several busy nightclubs/bars in the metropolitan area. Whether you’re with a hostel group, loved ones, or just ordering takeout, check it out! The karaoke setup itself is intuitive w/ touchscreen + YouTube accessibility in case you can’t find 1/70,000 songs. Even though every room seemed dialed to 11, conversations at the bar area felt comfortable in volume. If you’re looking for something fun in D.C. - this is it! I came here for a birthday party back in September and overall had a really great experience. Expecting a party of about 15, I was able to email them 2 weeks ahead of time and reserve a large karaoke room for 2 hours. Their hourly rates are super reasonable and the room was plenty big to seat everybody. We also got a plethora of food and honestly, it was surprisingly good - in fact you can fully expect to have a great lunch or dinner here while your friends are singing. One tip is to definitely not over order as the dishes are enormous (as seen in the included picture). They were super attentive checking in on us and made sure we had everything we needed to ensure a great party. The bar was also reasonable for AdMo (it's not a bar where they charge $15 for a simple cocktail). The only thing to keep in mind is that they already INCLUDE a 18% tip (which I should've expected). I mistakenly double tipped not thinking this, but was able to resolve this by calling them back the day afterwards and getting that refunded.

Muzette is a go to for private karaoke rooms in the area. The rooms are equipped with a system full of songs in multiple languages, but also allows access to YouTube which is handy when your song isn't available in the system. The space isn't lavish per se, but the bar is cute, the rooms have "character," and there are always people in there feeling the karaoke vibes. A bit rough around the edges but always a great time! Love going here.

I visited here with a few coworkers to celebrate a birthday and it was a really fun experience! They open at 5 and usually stay open late on both weekdays and weeknights. It was really simple to make a reservation, and we did so within 2 days of our event. The room sizes are great, the song selection is awesome, and it is a cool way to do karaoke without being on a stage in front of strangers. I'll definitely be returning!
