La Villa Pizzeria

This was really good pizza. Clearly fresh ingredients, and pride and care went into it. I was happy. I ordered through Slice. As a fair warning, I think they use grubhub to deliver, so it took maybe 35 minutes to get to me after I got the Slice notification that it was on its way, but that's not their fault. I'll just go pick up next time. Edit April 7 2023: I'm still ordering from here and they continue to impress! Tonight especially. My calzone tonight (cheese, garlic sauce, portobellas, caramelized onions, red peppers, and spinach) was absolutely done to perfection. It was stuffed with cheese and didn't skimp on the veggies, and it was lightly baked but still done. It's usually good, but whomever made it tonight did a phenomenal job!

So good! Ordered 7 pizzas online directly from the shop (no third party) for a birthday party and they arrived quick and hot! The pizza was great. Regular cheese, spicy chicken, chicken pesto, pepperoni and even a Hawaiian (I can't stand them but someone loved it). The spicy chicken and chicken pesto were huge hits! We look forward to ordering again!

This place just reopened after being closed for a couple years because they had a fire. They are very popular in the neighborhood and beloved by their patrons. Personally I think it's some of the best pizza and the area. There are dishes like eggplant parmesan et cetera, are always crowd pleasers. I've known many a new Yorker who often snubs their nose at DC pizzas but they seem to be satisfied by that is fired by La Villa.

Most restaurants are to over hype, with Techno music or overprice menus. Plus, they draw too much attention and to much attitude that's isn't really wanted. The staffing here takes ur order and listening, seriously. I don't know how many times, I've ordered a large. Pizza with Black Oliver's, Chicken or Anchovy. And each time, it just tastes better than before. Or maybe I’m just that hungry, I don't know, maybe. Right before celebrating Mother's Day May 2, 2019. I decided to order a few barbecue chicken. Once again, I wasn't disappointed. As you can see, I'm not an all out, let's paint the town red type of dude. But enjoying a meal is something, I still enjoy. Affordable and tasteful.
