Oohh's & Aahh's

We didn't have to wait on a table and the service was great! I ordered the whiting meal with mac n cheese and greens. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles. My son ordered the turkey wings with mac n cheese and yams. Everybody enjoyed their meal and then we sat a little while to make room for peach cobbler. All the food was delicious. Our waiter was attentive and madd us feel welcome.

I sat on the main floor, where I could catch up on some TV. The restaurant's relaxed ambiance, soft soul, and R&B music in the background made it the perfect spot to unwind. Even better, the price was reasonable, with my meal costing around $20. If you're looking for a soulful dining experience in Washington, DC, Oohh's and Aahh's is a must-visit. I truly enjoyed my meal and can't wait to return for more.

We came to town for the Miami Dolphins verse Washington Commander game. After the game we wanted to try a black owned restaurant. The hospitality as soon as we walked into the restaurant was great. Our waiter upstairs was awesome. The food was great as well as the drinks. Oh and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely will visit again on our next trip.

From Miami and visiting our son who lives in the DC area for college. And hands down this was the best restaurant we have tried since we've been visiting the area over the last 4 years. Catfish was perfect with the side of yams and Mac and cheese. Turkey Wing and Short ribs were also excellent. We all shared a little so we tried almost everything. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

I drove 30 minutes for some turkey wings from here . The turkey wings were good , the mac & cheese noodles were over cooked with big balls of cheese , I like it more solid, the greens were good . As I got my food I reminded the cashier of my red velvet cake, she told me it’s in the bag . Sadly after driving all the way home I notice it’s not in my bag . I know I should have checked the bag while in the store but I had a lot on my mind and Rosita S assured me that my cake was in my bag .
