The reviews do not lie, I had an absolutely delicious salmon blt sandwich. The smoked salmon is shredded instead of sliced, the lettuce looks disproportionately stacked, but with the slightly sweet bacon and the sauce they put on the bread, it all works perfectly together. Get it on rye bread. This immediately became one of my go-to lunch spots.

I absolutely love the smoke flavor in the food here. If you like mussels, this place does them best - smoky, slightly sweet flavor! On this visit I tried the Smoked Salmon salad sandwich and added bacon to it and it was divine! I gave them 4 stars for service because they are very nice and seems like they try to be accommodating but the service can be a little slow at times. Oh and I will add that all their sandwiches seem to come with tomato, lettuce and onion but it doesn't say it on the menu (unless I missed it) so if you don't like those things ask for it to be removed from your order. Lastly this ginger iced tea was good and refreshing also. Its sweet though so be prepared for that.

I had Smoked Salmon BLT and it was good. Instead of thin sliced smoked salmon, they use crushed oven smoked salmon which i thought interesting. I tired Mussels but i wouldn't recommend it. It was rather bland and bit sweet from honey. Service was very quick. Also, i wanted my sandwich on the bagel but i wasn't even asked about the bread. I got wheat bread but i really wanted bagel. They also seem like they close earlier than the business hours posted on Google.

I've never really been a smoked salmon fan. Hell, I've actually never really been huge on smoke-flavor overall! But this joint changed my mind. Letting the manager, Santiago,know my preferences, he suggested I start with the RAINBOW TROUT AND PEAR SALAD. Amazing. I was blown away. From there, I branched out to the WHITEFISH Salad sandwich. I also enjoy the smokey hummus and smoked artichoke dip. It's all very good!! And for being in Union Market, it is certainly one of the better priced locations. At face value it might seem expensive, but compared to other vendors, the prices are very reasonable for a quality, fulfilling meal. Not everything comes with bacon, but frankly, it should because this bacon is awesome and makes everything even better. Don't like bacon, then sub avocado. Take note, bagel sandwiches are only on weekends and they only offer gravlax salmon. (Still delightful). What can be better? For starters, the menu hasn't changed. The mother location in Baltimore offers so much more as well as new things. I would appreciate maybe a small seasonal change in the menu. Also, the house cardamon-ginger lemonade is to die for!! Cardamon is my favorite spice so I am a little biased. however, the lemonade isn't always consistent. Sometimes there is way too much of the cardamon-ginger syrup making it a thick, sugar drink with a hint of tartness. They need to establish a consistent recipe or method for mixing to ensure an always tasty product. Long story longer, EAT HERE CUZ ITS AMAZEBALLS!!!!! It'stotally worth every penny!

The salmon BLT and Avocado BLT was simply amazing. Real talk. I wasn’t stuffed or felt tired after. The grilled mussels aren’t for me. But were ok for those that love them. I’ll try certain foods once. Hands down the Salmon BLT with apples, avocado on sunflower seed bread hit the spot! This is definitely a treat.
