Pizza My Heart

We’ve discovered this pizza place halfway through the quarantine and it’s become our absolute favorite pizza and salads place. Mind you there are many pizza places in and around Walnut Creek. This one is by far the best. Best pizza dough and freshest salads. Love cheese pizza and Caesar salad. Those croutons are yum! Expect long waits during popular times.

First time at Walnut Creek Pizza My Heart, only gone to Santa Cruz before. Its a hand tossed pizza, really good flavor. They also sell a pizza of the day, Pizza by the slice is about $5.50 + for different kinds. They have Boxed salads of many kinds, regular sodas or special drinks. You can eat inside or take out, have delivered. Don't forget some free dips for your pizza.

The taste is good. I called and asked for the pizza to be ready at a certain time I picked it up maybe five minutes after time I requested. I got home with a 10 minute drive and the pizza was cold almost like they just left it sitting out instead of in a warmer. Also I paid extra for basil half the pizza does not have basil on it. Again taste was good but not impressed with the service

I dream about Pizza My Heart. Having grown up in the Bay Area, we would regularly drive down to Capitola just to get a slice. Was very happy to see one in Walnut Creek. Staff was friendly and helpful. And, of course, the pizza was beyond incredible. Ventured beyond the regular mushroom slice and tried the Big Sur. ♥️perfection.

It lacks all of the charm of the Capitola location, but the pizza is the same and even though we can’t sit in front of the ocean after picking up a slice, the huge surfer mural gives a good vibe. Also unlike Capitola, the staff are super nice and I like the idea of just picking up a single slice of pizza for a meal instead of an entire pie. My go to slice is mushroom. Which is yours?
