Whataburger

This place has gone downhill recently. Although I do love Whataburger, this place needs some serious help. Every time that I went there last semester, the service has been unusually slow, even for Waco standards. On top of this, the cooks seem to have little care for quality control. My fries are always stale and my burger is almost always fallen apart and messy by the time it gets to me. Do yourself a favor and go to a different Whataburger location.

BEWARE- DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. My husband and I were short changed yesterday at the drive through. It was $6. No big deal except when we asked the cashier about it she insisted we were lying then slammed the window in our faces twice. She got the manager who counted the till, of course it was right, (that’s what happens when you steal, it goes in your pocket not the till). Then when I asked for him to check the cameras which surely they have on their cashier, to which he came back saying he couldn’t see anything. I figured this would be his reply and sure enough. We were given an 1-800-burger, number to call and a “sorry.” The cashiers name was Makayla (or Mikayala, his writing was hard to read) and the manager James Furgeson (Ferguson?). Please be careful going through this drive through especially if paying with cash. Actually, just avoid it all together unless you want to be stolen from, then told you were lying and sent on your way. Also whataburger needs to pay better attention to their employees and maybe have better training for counting change as well as measures set up to prevent this from happening further (maybe idk cameras that actually show what is happening with the cashiers). I will edit to add if any resolution comes up, but I highly doubt it will.

It had been many years since I ate a Whataburger and it was just as tasty as I remember. I ordered the number one meal and the price was reasonable. They brought my meal to the table and also brought condiments. When I finished the meal a employee wanted to if he could take the tray away and I sat there for a while finishing my tea. I am very pleased with the service.
