The Blaq Square

So I decided to give Blaq Square a try. I stopped by when they were building out after taking over the space and was offered a sample of a vegan burger that was really good. Unfortunately, I forgot about the place and never returned. Definitely my mistake. Tonight I had the shrimp sliders and the pig and stone pizza along with a Mission Ale. Why I never returned after that first tasting is beyond my me. This place rocks! Excellent food and service. So glad we have another small business that offers non-chain selections that you would only expect to find in L.A. Will definitely be back!

This is my new favorite place in Valencia. It was incredibly good. I had the Revenant burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life better than unami and anything around here. Besides that I got the fries which have balsamic on them, the chili which was great, and a BBLT which was also outstanding. Can't say enough about it. Great food experience here! Make sure to check it out.

Contrary to another review, I think the new management and feel is a HUGE improvement. Our family is a mix of vegans, pescatarians, and omnivores... and everyone is happy when we come here. The beer selection seems well thought out (I can't speak to the wines) and the high speed wifi is a great compliment. I hesitate to talk that up since this is my new fav "working lunch" spot that hasn't been blown yet. The "off the hook" burger is fantastic, so are the veggie patties in any style. So glad you are here!

Great service and the server is attentive to your needs. The beer selection is good. But the menu is out of this world. It change daily. The selection is unbelievable, with a twist of out of this world flair. The chef comes by and checks with you to make sure it is all good. A little pricey but worth it. A must stop and try for any one wanting something good and not the usual. Same old thing. I would not recommend for someone to feed Young children 5 and under. The taste is too mature for them.
