Bodacious Bar-b-q

I would avoid it, it's also high on the $$$$$. First off, the menu. I know it's bbq and it should be simple, but the menu is just................not really what you would expect. A sandwich menu, 1/2 1/3 pound and a dinner plate. With sides at $3 or $7, then the sides are small. I eat at spring creek quite a bit and I ordered a sandwich expecting too much food from a plate. I eat at a lot of bbq, I am ranked at top 10% on google maps for bbq. I know bbq is expensive, but 2 sandwiches 1 drink and a side for $32 is a little steep. Then when the food came out, it was not anything to stop for. The beef was dry, even though it still had fat. The Mac and cheese was not anything special either, qt has better. The point is that there is better... On a side note, the decor is very good!!!!! Very original! I love the inside

On Friday May 7, 2021 I was in Tyler, Texas and I was determined to have some Good'Ol Texas BBQ, so I stopped in at Bodacious B.B.Q on I-20 & HWY 14. The food was Great, the customer service and friendliness was OUTSTANDING and Polite. I'll recommend anyone living in or stopping by Tyler, Texas to stop in and get some Fresh and Delicious BBQ. #Lipsmackingood!

Tried this place for the first time and I was very pleased. The price of the slab of ribs were more than I would usually pay for a slab, but it was worth it. Not trying to brag but I usually can handle a slab in one sitting, but I ate twice on this slab. LOL! I didn't even have to use the sauce, because the ribs were seasoned very good.

I had the chopped barbecue sandwich with sweet tea. This was one of the best sandwiches I've had in along time. The tea was the absolute best. This place is off the beaten path but we'll worth the drive. This restaurant has a rustic fill with a calming atmosphere that is great for the family. The prices are affordable and the service is great. So if your out and about stop in for some great barbecue. You won't be disappointed.

Such a cute atmosphere! I only ordered a brisket sandwich, and didn't try any sides. My sandwich was very good, and I liked their bbq sauce. I also enjoyed the pickled onions. They had a unique flavor that really added to the tastiness of my brisket! I will definitely make this a must stop next time I travel through Tyler.
