Moxie Java

I have been going to moxie for about 12-13 YEARS now, and I still love it. There's a warm friendly atmosphere, and the employees are always very nice and polite. In my personal opinion, the coffee options here are the most varied in town, and the coffee itself is quite good. I regularly go into moxie, about once or twice a week, and definitely suggest it to anyone and everyone. They've got options from juice and smoothies, to hot chocolate, Chai, coffee, cider, and multiple teas. It's a great option for variety and their food is great too. The scones are good, the sandwiches are good, the quesadillas are good... there's nothing bad to be said about the place. Clean bathrooms, good lighting, plenty of seating options. A+ coffee shop.

The coffee is good for a decent price. They did just raise their prices, but not drastically. The atmosphere is mellow as low-key, but sometime the staff can be a bit rowdy. However, I hear that's getting better. The staff is really friendly though! Great people to talk to in between working. Way better than Starbucks. They have a good food menu, including baked goods. The baked goods aren't fresh everyday anymore though. I think they're only baking three days a week now, which is kind of a let down. All in all, a good place to go.

I've been coming here off and on for almost a decade, which I think that alone speaks volume. The customer service has always been awesome! My favorite drink (MilkyWay Mocha) has always been crafted to perfection consistently. It has a lot of space for how small it is, the lighting is easy on the eyes and the place is very clean (restroom included).

I was really trying to escape the corporate feeling of starbucks. This is a nice location and the baristas are nice, but they are strangely convinced that when you ask for "room" in your Americano it automatically means you want that room filled with cream, milk or any other dairy product. The face of confusion as you try to explain that you "just want the room" but nothing in it, kind of explains why after you drive away you realize your American was just ruined by milk.

Don't bother, this place no longer exists. The guy who owned it just decided he didn't like it anymore, fired everyone and closed up the next day. No where else is worth going to so just move onto the next town. This was the best coffee, and now you may as well pick up the black stuff from the gas station down the road.
