Perfect place to spend a nice day with or without family. Beautiful view on Tossa de Mar, very good food and friendly staff. We went on Saturday thinking they do calçotada. They didn't but the boss Giovanni didn't have a problem to prepare it for us even it wasn't on the menu. The calçots were just perfect and fresh and not over grilled with very nice sauce. We got mejillones and calamar which were absolutely delicious. I ordered Lubina-Highly recommend. My boyfriend and friend had calzone and they loved it. As a desert I got panacotta with chocolate and caramel prepared by a waiter Francesco. He just earned 5 STARS for that. I highly recommend this restaurant if you go to Costa Brava. We will b back soon because there is so much food we want to try.....thank you Giovanni and your team

Abbiamo pranzato da Giovanni una domenica di Giugno.... Ottimo nel complesso con piatti prelibati e gustosi...grigliata di pesce frittura e cozze con un vinello doc catalano. L'atmosfera e l' accoglienza sono eccezionali come il sevizio. Ci ritorniano presto. Grazie al proprietario Giovanni e a Francesco.
El sitio y las vistas son insuperables, la comida excepcional y de óptima calidad ! El servicio fue genial nos atendieron rápida y amablemente , todo fue correcto , repetiremos sin duda alguna!
El chef, Giovanni, encantador y muy profesional , los platos hechos al momento y super bien presentados : comimos unas tapas de pescado y marisco, paella de marisco, pizza y canelones, todo estaba fresquisimo y se nota que los ingredientes son de primera calidad !

We wandered up because the view was great and the staff greeted us in a friendly, welcoming manner. We had no idea the experience that would unfold.
The salads were fresh, generous portions. The mix of greens nutritious and succulent.
They not only accommodated our request for a vegetarian option, they made Martha exactly what she requested - Tortilla Española! She raved about how good it was with every bite.
The seafood paella was so good, I have no words adequate to describe it. The mussels and langoustinos were presented in a perfect, steaming array. The presentation was a portent of the ineffable flavors and textures to come with every lift of my fork.
Get thee to this magical place of culinary delight and fine service.
This lunch spot exceeded our expectations! It's not touristy at all and the prices are great. Everything from the aperol spritz to the chef's recommendation for dessert of the Baná which we had never tried was absolutely delicious and made authentically. The carbonara pasta was graciously made by request and was the best ever. So happy and leaving with SUPER full bellies!
Delicouly stuffed after lunch here. Best place to get authentic italian food made and served by Italians. Try the Aperol Spritz, stuffed zucchini blossoms, pasta Carbonara, and much more. Great lunch. Great prices.
This is the real deal. Best food down the coastline. It's crazy that the seafood is on par with the pizza! And they are exceptional. Better that most places in Barcelona. No joke. Take every recommendation they give you and you will not be sorry. We will head back for another feast while here on vacation.

FANTASTIC: 10 Star-Service with 4.5 Star Food
Stopped for lunch with my husband, based on seeing the customers happily eating their llunch there! This team is laser-focused on the HAPPINESS of guests & it showed from the MOMENT we walked in through the entire meal.
THE AMBIENCE
Comfortable chairs, overlooking the sea, plenty of shaded areas or areas right in the sun. Great music streaming in added to a relaxed vibe.

Thoughtful & attentive - when the clouds rolled in & it was cooler, automatically the waiter appears with a folded clean blanket that I could use if I was chilly. So thoughtful. I thought I didn't need it, but he said he would leave it on the chair next to me, in case I changed my mind. Sure enough about 30 minutes later, I wanted that blanket.
THE FOOD
Delicious sangria, made inhouse with their special recipe - fantastic
Greek Salad was HUGE portion, fresh crisp vegetables, attractive looking & tasted great
Individual Pizzas - Margherita & Mushroom/Ham- both were quite good. The only deduction I would give is for the individual pizza - I thought the sauce could have used some more oregano - it was a little lacking....
Second night in a row to dine here, OMG! The food is incredible and the service spot on. Say hi to Mickey and ask for him to be your waiter. We both had T-Bone steak tonight and it was better than we could have imagined! Wine recommended was perfect with the steak. If you're ever in the area make sure to eat here.

The restaurant is a very good blend of Italian and Spanish cuisine. The name probably comes from the chef that is also frequently on the floor helping staff and greeting guests. And the head of the floor looks like his brother (but not sure about that). They have pizza and pasta, but also many good tapas, good fish and paella. Unlike in many other places you can have paella even for 1 person. And you can chose from about 5-6 types. The staff is very attentive and speaks also English. There is also good climate due to 2 sides open but all tables in shadow and fans on the ceiling. Important element that also adds to good mood is excellent selection of music that plays all the time. There is also big screen with sports on (just in case you want to watch football...). Their house wine is in good Italian manner - simply quite good. Not to mention coffee. That is just great! In town with so many tourist restaurants, this is one which is also for tourists, but at the same time a place with a soul and honest human touch beyond the comedy for tourists you can see in most places around.

Un diez de sitio, tiene un menú que es una pasada, muy rico y a un precio muy bueno. Nos trataron además genial. Lo recomiendo totalmente y si vuelvo por allí volveremos a repetir. La fideua y la sopa de pescado de locura. El sitio comparado con los de alrededor, además que está al final del todo hace que pases de largo, pero si estáis buscando un sitio rico y a buen precio no os arrepentiréis. Además si estais en terraza tendreis unas vistas espectaculares.
Desde hoy Da Giovanni es una de mis mejores pizzerias.
El personal ha sido muy amable y profesional (hemos ido sin reserva y nos han atendido de maravilla).
Un restaurante con vistas impresionantes de Tossa de Mar con un ambiente excepcional.
La ensalada de tomate con mozzarella era deliciosa, brutal.
Las pizzas estaban bien elaboradas, una cocción perfecta y con los ingredientes justos y necesarios.
Para terminar el cannolo siciliano me ha hecho transportar hasta la misma Italia.
La relación calidad precio es immejorable y realmente hemos podido degustar comida 100% napolitana.
Sin lugar a dudas lo recomiendo encarecidamente cuando visiten Tossa.

Excelente lugar, atención y comida. El lugar hermoso, la atención impecable y la carta es perfecta! Variedad en platos para celiacos, veganos y vegetarianos 🌱 hasta el momento lo mejor en la costa Brava y el Maresme. 100% recomendado 🙌🏻
Te adaptan casi toda la carta sin gluten, y además te informan muy bien. Eso se agradece mucho.
La comida está muy rica, sobre todo las pizzas. Tienen platos muy diferentes, se salen mucho de lo normal. Lo recomiendo mucho, es comida diferente y muy buena.
El trato de los camareros es muy cercano.
Pedimos cuatro platos y nos gastamos 57 euros.
De los mejores sitios donde hemos comido, tanto por el trato del personal, como por la comida. Nos atendieron muy bien, íbamos con un perrito y nos pusieron en una mesa un poco apartada para estar más cómodos. La pizza artesanal estaba buenísima.

El servicio un diez, profesional y amable, se agradece encontrar sitios así.
Las pizzas excelentes a destacar la Roma Mia mmmm , la de Salmón , la de Atún , aunque el resto de platos tendían una pinta deliciosa también.

Las vistas desde nuestra mesa eran muy bonitas. Los camareros muy atentos, servicio rápido y cuidando los detalles. Comimos dos pizzas y un postre, un poco caro esto último, aunque estaba muy rico. Sin duda recomendable. 43€ por dos personas, pizzas de buen tamaño, te quedas satisfecho.
