We visited for Sunday lunch on 28 May 2023. This was our first visit and it won't be our last! We have booked again for an evening visit and a return for Sunday lunch when family are here next month. From the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant, polite and attentive but not intrusive. The food was amazing and for the price very good value, €20 for a 3 course lunch is incredible! We had the prawn cocktail and crispy beef for starter, both were very tasty. I had roast beef, OH had the pork. Both came with a huge Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and gravy. The pork had a huge piece of crackling with it. We also got a huge dish of broccoli and carrots and an extra boat of gravy. For pudding we both had the Baileys bread and butter pudding which came with both ice cream and custard! All food was piping hot when meant to be. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen, which can be seen from the restaurant, was the same. For us this is the best restaurant by far in the area and well worth the 30 minute journey to get there! Highly recommend a visit.
