Bob Evans

This has taken me awhile to post, but not to forget. My daughter, my granddaughter and myself went to eat for lunch on 11/24/21, however they were short staffed and had limited things on the menu. Our waitress Caitlin was the best waitress I have ever had at any restaurant I have went to. She went out of her way to make sure everything we ordered was perfect. My granddaughter is 9 and somewhat of a picky eater, it did not phase Caitlin one bit. She went above and beyond to make her special items. She made her the sweetest hot chocolate which my granddaughter loved and even made her seconds because she knew she loved it. I just can't say enough good things about her, but I can tell you if/when I am over that way again I will definitely go back. Stop in and enjoy your meal with Caitlin. Thank you Caitlin.

Seated fast... waitress came to table pretty fast...food didn't take long to be brought to the table . Ordered three meat omelette with home fries (diced potatoes not home fries) meat tasted like meat you would put on pizza).. second order was a the mini sampler...( Hash brown two strips of bacon and one scrambled egg) added one pancake to this order with white toast.. pancake was not cook all the way through. And toast was as hard as a brick.. when first seated my silverware was missing a spoon (no big deal) but napkin that had silverware wrapped had something on it( small bug I think)...told waitress...she forgot to bring a new One back... forget my toast ( then brought me a 5/10min standing toast back that abvously had been sitting forever...) Didn't bring any jelly for toast till asked for . Waitress said sorry took the uncooked pancake and toast away....told her I didn't want a different one...Got ready to pay 1:35 pancake wasn't taken off at all...front cashier ask how it was . Husband said terrible. No manager or anyone said nothing...and we even left a tip... should have left nothing.. never will eat there ever again....better cooked food from burger king breakfast menu...it's been 10 plus years since eating at a bob Evans and know I know why ...

We usually get great service here but our recent visit was not pleasant. Our waitress was absolutely horrible! She asked us if we had a pen and then ran off for a few minutes and came back with some massive marker to write down our order. She took 10-15 minutes just to get us our drinks and another 10 minutes to grab the creamer for the coffee. She kept blaming her coworkers for things being behind. We watched our food sit under the heat lamp for at least 15 minutes but yet she said the cooks were running behind and that's why it was late. She also stated that she was working by herself, as another waitress was taking an order at the table next to us. Our food was luke warm by the time we got it, the toast was rock hard, and everything overall was inedible. We waited for 15-20 minutes to get our check before the other waitress noticed we were ready to go and ended up cashing us out. Management was notified and stated that they were aware, and had received numerous complaints that day.

Normally Bob Evan's is a consistently good experience for family dining. However, my most recent visit was quite a let down. It was as if our meals were made out of the leftover morsels in the back of the fridge. The turkey was hard and the carrots were overcooked to the point that they had a brown cast. The dinner rolls were flattened and doughy. Hopefully this was just a bad day
