Cervantes Restaurant

Originally we had a party of 10 and we were supposed to eat at another Mexican restaurant across the street, but that restaurant could not accommodate our large party. So I called Cervantes and spoke with Grace and she told us they could accommodate our large party and would take care of us. Grace had our table ready for our large party and we had EXCELLENT service from Grace throughout the night. Mariachis music started at 7pm and dinner was lovely. We were celebrating my father's birthday and Grace made sure it would be special. She had the Mariachis sing Happy bday in Spanish and English and she bought out candles for our cake along with plates and utensils. Grace's customer service was "above and beyond" and really made our father's bday extra special. 5 star service and would come back and recommend to others.

My brother and I hit this place up randomly on a Friday night around 8:30, and it was a great experience! There was some excellent live mariachi music, and a couple of huge birthday parties made the place lively and noisy (in a great way). We ordered a plate of red and a plate of green enchiladas, and shared. Neither were very spicy, but both had wonderful (and very different flavors). Specifically the green sauce had some FANTASTIC green chile flavors. I will definitely be returning here to try other meals! I'll probably come back on Friday night too, just to enjoy the music!

Food is so good! Ordered the chicken nacho supreme, and it was a lot! Definitely worth it. Other reviews have complained about the chips: the chips are actually not stale, they are just thick and homemade. I've made my own chips before, and they are thicker and sometimes a little chewy depending on how long you fry them and how thick your tortillas are to start with. In my personal opinion the taste and texture is better than the common bagged chip style, and it's a rare treat to find it at a restaurant. For anyone reading these reviews and worried about the chips, they are most definitely fresh: homemade is just a little different from bagged. Staff are so nice! Felt right at home. Just caught the beginning of the Mariachi music, but wow holy cow! So awesome!!! Will be coming back as soon as i can with friends for the music!!! (And food... And drinks... And chips!!).
