Pho Nhat

Delicious repast for an early lunch here. Every other restaurant was closed until 11am; I had my bun at 10:15am. The owner is sweet and service is prompt. She taught me how to say "you are welcome" in Vietnamese. I ate the bun with beef and egg rolls. I love to squirt plenty of hoisin sauce on it. I was just imaginging eating pancakes with hoisin--not bad! Anyway, the bowl was generous and I paired it with a plum soda. Don't miss out on that experience, or you could get da chanh, the fresh lemonade. I was running errands today, and I was thankful for a quick, accessible, delicious meal! I'll be back!

Update: This is still one of the best and tastiest places I've had the chance to eat at in Tempe. They've served their customers well through the pandemic and are still one of the highest quality places I've been to in a while. Original review: I've been coming here since there were Disney characters on the wall. The portions are huge, the food is tasty, and the service is fast and friendly.

OG Vietnamese in Tempe. Pho was tasty and served fresh pho sides. Fried rice was super flavorful but small-ish portion. Prices were surprisingly fair. Quick, no frills table service. They close at 8 pm and felt a tad rushed as we arrived at 7:30. Oops. I would go back for the fried rice. Btw, the little plaza is dumpy.
