We had two personal size pizzas, a pesto pizza with sweet Italian sausage and a red pizza with meatball and roasted red peppers. Both were excellent New York style with thin, crispy crust. We liked that we were able to pick up the pizza and eat it without everything falling off. The service was great, the manager cleaned up a booth for us while the waitress was busy. Nothing fancy but a great little spot. We would definitely eat here again.

I spent several years of my life in New York City, and I missed the pizza immensely when I moved back here. NYPD is the very best NY pizza I've had in Arizona. Absolutely amazing taste, great quality, and SPECTACULAR service. Every time I go, I walk away thinking "These are great people" They're generous, and they'll take care of you. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but the waiter did not check on my table in intervals that were satisfactory to me. Although, he was nice, and courteous. Now, the calzone was absolutely delicious. The portions of food served are sizable. My best friend stated their wings they ordered was very good as well. The place was very clean, bathroom was clean as well.

Excellent customer service! I came in during a busy lunch shift and everyone was working together to make sure everyone was taken care of. I ended up ordering an entree I wasn’t a fan of, I am not one to complain so I was just going to pay for it and leave. My waitress noticed I hadn’t eaten much of it and sent me home with some delicious pizza to ensure I was satisfied. Great management and great customer service! I’ll definitely be back!

The staff here is great, very friendly and attentive. The location is good if you’re in the area and there is quick access to parking.
I really enjoy their pizzas, the crusts are crispy but not too thin, and their fried mozzarella is always amazing.

Pizza is great because they use fresh ingredients. The Happy Hour deals for Pizza, Wings and Beer is perfect for someone on a tight budget. Where else can you get craft beer and great slices of pie at such a low prices! The restaurant is at the northern end of Mill Ave.

This was a nice restaurant that we came across after a long day at the zoo. It turned out to be a great find. Kids eat free on Wednesday, which was a fantastic coincidence. We ordered a pizza for the adults, which we really enjoyed. They change the pH of their water to match that of New York's, and even though it's not quite like real New York pizza, it's pretty close. With the exception of the mac and cheese (way too salty), everyone was happy with their meal. The waitress was very nice and patient.

I just wanted to say that out of all the pizza places that you can choose from this is not only the best tasting but they also have the biggest hearts! You see I'm homeless and a lot of times when I walk into a restaurant I get treated less than human but not at NYPD Pizza these managers go over and Beyond making me feel comfortable they have a very clean restaurant and very friendly staff I can't say enough about them please if you're looking for a great pizza place in Tempe this is the one to go to it's right off the light rail exit so it's super convenient thank you NYPD Pizza for for making sure that I never went hungry and treating me like I was a human being it means the world to me!

Tried this location out for the first time tonight. Omg, their pizza was absolutely delicious. The toppings were so fresh and good. The service here is great. Ryan took our order and definitely left us with smiles on our faces. Keep up the great work. You guys are awesome at what you do..🍕🍰🍹

I would give this four stars (their pizza isn't INSANELY good, but I like their toppings) but the service is just so good. Happy hour has $1 cheese slices too? How can poor grad students like me NOT enjoy this?? I got a pint of beer and a big slice of breaded eggplant and smoked mozzarella for $6.50.
