Pier 30

I have had good experiences here and some that could improve in the last 7 years. Kudos to these guys for surviving the COVID shut down. The folks here work hard to earn your business. As a " local" ... This place is superb and the kids and dogs like as much as the staff enjoys your patronage. Keeping it real.

We had fried shrimp and catfish. It was lightly battered, crispy, & It had a great flavor. Along with our meal, we had the grilled vegetables and Cole slaw, which were very good as well. I believe our waitress’ name was Makayla. She was very attentive and one of the best servers I’ve had. Our experience was awesome and we will definitely be back!

We found Pier 30 on our way to San Luis Pass on our annual fishing trip. The shrimp was amazing! Etoufee was yummy, gumbo was good, and shrimp tacos were bomb! Definitely get the crawfish queso! Oysters were good but, probably wouldn't order a second time. View is awesome, drinks were good and staff was awesome! A definite stop while in the area.

We stopped here on the way to the beach because we were so hungry and we fell in love! The food and service is amazing! We have returned to the beach just so we could come back to Pier 30. Kayla was our server both times and she is the best. She is so attentive and personable. She is very patient when it came to our party, as half of the table was not very fluent in English and we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat lol. She offered great recommendations. The crab is fresh and abundant. The corn ribs are a new addition to the menu and I highly recommend them. They are like mixed of elote and ribs, seasoned to perfection. The fried oysters are so good and the burgers are huge. The cocktails are delicious and we finished off lunch with an iced coffee.
