Waffle House

Food little crisp. Never had hashbrowns you could pick up with fingers. Bacon on the extra crispy side also. Had to ask for pickles to my chicken deluxe sandwich as well as better lettuce ( piece on plate was bitter part). Waffle was very small and thin, not thick as usual. The food was hot, we were hungry and tired.

Late night/ early morning so thankful for waffle House! Food was great as always, order placed quickly food was served quickly and was good and hot. Service was attentive to my needs and kept a smile on her face the entire time. I absolutely love this waffle House at this location I will drive past four pancake Houses to get to this waffle house location where the staff is super friendly and caring and know customers by their name. One thing that I absolutely have to share is one visit to waffle House there was a older gentleman in a wheelchair who had pulled into the Parking lot to come in and was struggling to get out his van two employees said to their customers if they didn't mind they were going to go help this elderly man, and asked if anyone needed anything before going to offer assistance and everyone spoke they were good. So the two ladies then took off their aprons and walked out to greet this man and helped him lower his wheel chair ramp and then helped close up the van door and one lady opened the door and the other pushed him in holding his jacket. That wasn't part of their job but they took time to do so. That's the kinda place I enjoy eating at spending my money.

Corey was a great server. Food was excellent. The cook (Aisha) was very friendly and was an amazing cook. On the other hand, Kelsey, who is also a server, was very rude and talked down to the other employees. The continuing eye rolling, name calling, and rude attitude was noticed by everyone. The way she talked to the other employees was embarrassing. We spoke up and told the other employees they were doing a great job and deserved better. Kelsey needs counseling and a nice leave of absence

Our bus came and filled the place with no warning. The two people working stayed cheerful and worked like crazy to feed everyone as quickly as possible. They also tried to call in others to help, but when no one could come, those two just doubled down and took excellent care of us. I cannot say enough good things about them. The orders were filled correctly and the food was delicious.

Double order, scattered, smothered, covered x2, chunked and caped. That's my go to at the House. Also get a grilled cheese, with ham ad tomato, cooked in the grilled cheese, cause you need the tomato warm. In town for cheer competition, do all the dads/sons got breakfast together. Waitress was super nice, but kept adding her 2 cents into our conversation we were having at the table. Fairly clean location. Food was what was expected, but little overdone. No quans about coming back. Easy in and out location.

To name the 7 wonders of the south one would have to factor in Waffle House. I’m not saying they are the best, they are just iconic. A symbol of breakfast and lunch (unknown to some) done simple and reasonable. The laminated, two side menu offers a limited menu of breakfast bowls, hash browns, eggs, sides and yes, waffles. Just don’t be asking for pancakes. Lunch offers even less with a few Angus burgers and/or Texas melts. Some locations are known to serve T-bone steaks, pork chops and country ham, but I have yet to find one. I guess my quest is yet to be completed. Most seating is wrapped around the cooking area so servers can sling your order right to you from the grill. Otherwise, booth seating lines the walls. Even though it was lunchtime, I found myself ordering the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Hash brown Bowl. First a layer of hash browns fried to perfection with crispy edges, topped with 2 scrambled eggs, 2 Jimmy Dean Patties crumbled and 2 slices of melted American cheese. Quality and quantity goes hand and hand, with even leftovers.
