Uptown Brewery

Cute place. Nothing too fancy. We went for lunch and were quite satisfied. Stuffed mushrooms were great. They do not use imitation crab. Tomato bisque had a nice flavor. French dip and au jus were delicious. Swiss mushroom burger was fresh. And then there was the blueberry pie. It is made in house and was so good, I bought the whole pie. Seriously. Get the pie.

Service is a little slower than most places because they take great care to insure things are perfect. Food is out standing. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the specials and sometimes unusual selections on the menu. Great old time at atomsphere. Also has the honor of having part of the movie Nebraska filmed there ..

The food was just okay. The veggies were extremely over cooked while the salmon was extremely undercooked. It came out more like sushi. Due to my sisters medical condition we asked if they could put her salad in a blender so she could eat it (sounds yucky but it worked). However, they charged us extra to do it! I thought that was pretty darn cheap. Anyway, overall not a good experience and the quality of the food was well below par.
