Sketchy area and more so the entrance isn't inviting not knowing what's waiting to greet you behind the doors. Once entering, you finally realize the inside is much better than what the shopping center gives off due to homeless peeps. Definitely a dive bar+. If you make it in time, kitchen is spitting out great food. Good spot to catch games or shoot some pool or darts. Mellow spot to chill n hideaway. Definitely reasonable on prices which makes it amazing.

It’s okay, it gets the fourth star, only because it’s open early(6am) while most bars are closed. They have golf, darts and pool table open so it’s easy to do something. The only problem is it feels like attitude if you try getting quarters for the pool table or order alcohol when they’re with their friends.

I have to be honest, you would think from the outside and the location that this place is sketchy and not worth the time, but having lived in Stanton now for 4 years and been to Lucky John's multiple times, I'm gonna say there's just something about this place that's super legit. The people are really rad and I don't think I've ever been in the situation where the owner or someone else has offered to buy the bar a round more than here, it's amazing. They've got pool, they've got good music...what more do you need? Plenty of good beers, cocktails that aren't watered down to sh!t...live music here and there...it's a good spot, definitely worth a visit if you're on the way through. Staff is super friendly and always very chill. That's all I need.
