Popeye's Chicken And Biscuits

Stopped in to grab a quick lunch on the go. I wanted to try the shrimp and I was tore between the popcorn and the regular style. I ended up getting the popcorn shrimp with a biscuit and the coleslaw. I had to pull over as they didn't have any ready. I only waited a out 4 or 5 minutes and all the people we friendly. The shrimp were very crispy and had a good flavor with a touch of spice. It came with a nice spicy horseradish cocktail sauce that was a great addition. The slaw was fresh and crunchy. I was full and didn't try the biscuit but it looked a little underwhelming as it didn't look like a raised dough. Overall a pretty meal for the cost. I will be back to try the full size shrimp.

Look I love Popeyes especially that spicy chicken sandwich but I went in today and ordered a #1 spicy chicken sandwich with a side of red beans and rice also I added a side of Mac and cheese. The meal was acceptable sandwich hot red beans and rice normal. However the Mac and cheese was clearly super old. I don't mean like a hour old I mean like 24 hours+ old. Just by looking at it a employee should've known not to serve.

I got a two piece dinner with macaroni and cheese and coleslaw as an extra side, along with the chicken sandwich for my son. The size of the sandwich we received did not warrant the price. Also there was a small child about age five who was the grandson of one of the employees. He ran in and out of the kitchen area at will and it was obvious the employees were used to it because they all spoke to him

I was excited to try the famous Popeye's chicken sandwich and so last time we were in town, we stopped by. We got our food to go as there is no eating in due to the pandemic regulations. We each got a chicken sandwich meal with a side of red beans and rice. You can't go to Popeye's with getting red beans and rice after all. The staff was friendly and service was fast. I also highly recommend that chicken sandwich. There was no pieces of fat in the meat, and it was crispy and delicious. It won't be the last time I get one. You should all head there and give it a try yourselves. 🎶"Ooooo, baby! I got Popeye's!"🎵

Got to Popeyes at 8:40 and ordered 3 chicken sandwich meals. Was told at the window it would 6 minute wait. Ok no problem got our drinks and pulled to the first parking spot. This was 8:50 at this point. About 20 minutes goes by and we brought out 3 sandwiches but no fries. The girl acted like we didn’t pay for our combos so we showed her the receipt and she said she would get the fries. 20 more minutes Goes by and we still have no fries. Other customers were waiting as well and hadn’t got their orders either. I try to go in as I seen a party walk out of the building and right as I reach the door and the employee who was supposed to bring out our fries runs towards the door and locks me out. I was simply gonna wait for our fries with my receipt and ask for a plain chicken sandwich because one sandwich was made incorrectly and I was bringing it back in. I tried calling their number and it said it was no longer in service. We had to pull back in line and ask the girl at the window where our fries were and to remake the sandwich. This is at 9:30 at this point. So this whole ordeal is 40 minutes long for 3 simple meals that costed us 30 dollars! My husband tells her we didn’t get our fries and one sandwich was wrong and we had been here for 30 minutes. Her reply was oh I know sorry bout that can I give you a free cookie. Wow a cookie really!!! Needless to say this has been by far the worst experience ever. They didn’t care to get us our food just got us off their drive thru time and kept moving cars and left about 4 cars including ours sitting for 40 minutes waiting on food! This is totally unacceptable and we will not come back to this Popeyes and I will make sure to tell all the people we know not to as well.

Just ordered there 4/28/22 around 3:15pm, the lady that worked the drive thru taking orders was extremely rude, I wondered why the car ahead of me just pulled out and left. This lady was so rude, if I had not promised my kids chicken I would have left as well. Another lady at the back was cusrsing loud saying "the owner need to come in here and make his own damn chicken sandwiches because I don't get paid enough for this." Of course my order was missing items, and the lady at the window basically threw my order to me. I was polite and said thank you, of course no reply. Wow if you hate your job that much just quit instead of being so hateful to customers .

My daughter is a minor worked there and they worked her 6hrs 15mins no break next day she goes in they tried to work her 3 hours without a break so I told her to come home no job is allowed to work minors like that. So if your a minor don't work for Popeyes on s. Limestone Springfield. I'll never give them my service again. By law minors are supposed to have a break every 2 hours!!! Parents beware don't let no job do your children this way!!! Stand up for there rights!!!!
