Public House

Food was cooked perfectly with prompt and polite service. Visiting from Texas with a friend. It's difficult to find local spots that have good food while traveling but our server Julie and the team at Public House did an outstanding job. Would love to eat here again next time I'm in Eugene. I recommend the Ruben and Ruben fries!!!

So happy to eat out after two months!! Very unique atmosphere; a converted church. Ordering and paying was all done on my phone. Beer was excellent, food was good. Comparing food pricing to other local places, this was a little pricey. Burger was maybe 1/4 lb, no pretzel bun. Getting a pitcher of beer was a better deal.

My 2yr. old son was yelled at for playing by himself away from everyone. My wife and I (who have spent thousands of dollars here to keep it open during the pandemic) went to complain to a public house server when a female working there cussed, kicked me out, and recorded me (on her phone) as I was leaving (I can only guess to get hits online and shame my family) for complaining about how our local Oregon family of over 34 yrs. was treated at this location. When my precious 2 yr. old was just running around having fun, by himself, breaking no “rules”... What happened to families having fun while eating out...

There is a great variety of foods to choose from and it is all in a excellent location right in the middle of downtown Springfield. I have never been in the evening but I and my coworkers like to go here for the amazing array of choices available. There are bike racks outside for those of us who commute by bike and the outdoor seating area is nice when it is dry. The Whiskey Lab is a great addition. The bartender Trey is very knowledgeable and generous as well. They had some great blues playing when I was there.

Was on vacation in Oregon and a buddy and I were tipped off to PublicHouse. Upon arrival a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I ended up getting the Ruben Tots from Pig and Turnip and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity. I'd be remiss if I were to not give credit to our waitress Julie, for making my friend and I's experience so pleasant. Would highly recommend!
