Panera Bread

This was a terrible customer experience. Attempting to place the order and the attendant not being able to hear us correctly leading to confusion and an extremely disrespect tone. When we received our food the order was incomplete and we were asked to wait while they prepared our drinks, which was fine, until they came back a few minutes later and asked what else we needed, we expected to then have the drinks in a timely manner which was unfortunately not the case. We were asked again why were were waiting and then finally the drinks were delivered. At least we had our food right?! My wife's sandwich was smashed to the point of the avocado sliding out of one side and mine had so much sauce or mayo on it that it was soaking through the bread and the paper, it was disgusting. My daughter was delighted that her mac and cheese was unaffected (so were we). She loved it. There are plenty of restaurants that serve soup and sandwiches, do yourself a favor and don't bother with this one.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I've eaten at this Panera and many other Paneras before. My grandma and I always get the four cheese grilled cheese and tomato soup. The half grilled cheese normally has thick bread and all the good cheeses. Today I paid $5 for this little piece of stale bread and hardly any cheese at all. After talking to the manager, she offered to refund the grilled cheeses. She wasn't very nice, avoided any other conversation, and quickly walked away. We were left so disappointed in the food, still hungry, and she made no offers to make us something else. After taking to a guy from the kitchen, he actually made an effort to make things right. He offered to remake our grilled cheeses and apologized for everything. He even offered us some yummy pastries. He was much better than the first manager lady that talked to us. Just overall was disappointed in this Panera Bread. Thankful that at least one employee was polite and had customer service skills.

Really annoying how the breadbowl comes with just a cup of whatever you chose and the cold piece of sourdough bread. You really can’t heat it up and put it together there? You have to give people cold food that they have to go home and heat up and put together there? Ugh. Haven’t eaten here in years and will never go back again. Yall need to fix something. 13 bucks for tiny cups of cold food. Disgusting.
