Naismith's Pub And Pretzel

Stopped in after a few hours at the MGM to check it out, found it on Google maps. 20 or so craft brews on tap. We went on a Sat night and there was some live acoustic music playing. Clean, comfortable pub atmosphere, dimly lit. Two barkeeps working were friendly and knowledgeable. Would've stayed for another but had other plans. Kitchen was closing when we got there (10pm ish) so can't comment on the food. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in that area.

Hands down the best craft cocktails in Springfield! And if you prefer beer, they've got a great selection of craft beer too. The bartenders are really friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is welcoming; on warmer days they open up the big front window so you can enjoy the feeling of being outside. Naismith's Pub And Pretzel is now my go-to bar!

The first time I was here they were Naismith Pub and Pretzel, and they're seriously stepped up their game since then. Pretzels are made fresh, there's a variety of breakfast and food options (nothing like late-night carbs to bring you home!), and their draft and can selection remains top notch. Chairs are steady, service is prompt, and the live entertainment doesn't disappoint! Great little pub, definitely stop in if you're on Worthington.

The food and the atmosphere is great but unfortunately the service is very disappointing. It takes hours to get just a pretzel (mind you the pretzel is delicious), the wait staff hardly ever checks on you and consistently forgets what you order when you order it to the point that they are losing money because by the time they ask you if you want anything it is too late. Would be nice if they worked out the kinks because I really enjoy the trivia and the food and the beer selection is not bad either if you like craft beer.
