Kfc

We ordered online and waited until the appropriate time to pick up. I pulled to the drive thru where no one was waiting before I could say anything more than "I am picking up" the person said "nuh uh, you gotta come in for that". We went in and were told she was getting it started. No air inside, feel bad for the workers. They were carrying what appeared to be frozen water balloons to stay cool. Of the 5 employees one was scooping the sides together for our order. It took about 10 additional minutes to get the order together. We had ordered the Side Lovers 8 piece tenders meal with 4 biscuits a large mashed potatoes and gravy, large mac n cheese and fries. We added 2 more large mashed potatoes and gravy and 2 drinks. What we got was 8 small bits of dried up chicken, 3 mashed no gravy, burnt mac n cheese and 4 pancakes. I went back in to get the gravy and fries. They gave me one gravy and a half box of fries. They were not busy, but the dining room was dirty and the entire floor was sticky. I tried to be courteous and give them a 25 minute heads up as I know the service industry is really awful right now. It seems higher wages has led to a worse working environment and the need to hire sub par employees just to be able to have a body in the store. Needless to say we won't be back.

Today 2/1/22 the worst exp at a KFC I have ever had. 40 min in the drive-thru with only 2 people ahead of me. Absolute rude order taker. 1 employee working the whole time taking order with headset, filling orders, and taking money and working drive- thru window. the other person their walked around the whole 40 minutes and did nothing. What I ordered was $20 family fill up. The 1 employee that was working came to window after filling my order and asked me what I ordered and them mumbled back to station refilling order again. I could see she made it extra crispy instead of original. The one female working clearly could not even close the containers with the long fake nails she had on. Working with 1 hand gloved and other hand bare and scratching her head often with no net. When I Got home went through the food. I was given 5 breast, 3 wings, and 1 thigh. Absolutely no explanations. The following photos shows the very lumpy gravy and mashed potatoes that weren't even mixed properly you can see clusters of the dry potatoes powder though out them. Clearly she did not want to be there. All I say is put the closed sign up lock the door go home vs poor service and food. Whats so bad is the other major multi-store chicken chain in town is just as bad. 5-5-2022 update No improvement in the quality of the food or the courtesy of the employees. But sometimes I have to do what needs to be done.

I ordered a two piece dark meat original and got one extra crispy “breast” - even it was odd shaped and just one piece, not two. Was not told my order wasn’t able to be filled as ordered. Also, who needs 6 packs of hot sauce and 5 ketchup for a famous bowl and two pieces of chicken with mashed potatoes? Oh, and it was 4:15 and I was the only person in the drive thru.

The chicken strips were good. The problem is I got all the way home and they didn't put the dipping sauce in the bag. Had to drive back to get it. Knowing that my food was cold, the employee offered to put it in the microwave. No thanks. I have a microwave. Thought that he's offer to remake the order. Couldn't get it right the first time. That's why they make the big bucks I guess. Normally I wouldn't be upset about missing dipping sauce. That's the only reason why I got the chicken. Lol

Maybe the worst KFC I have ever tasted. My wife picked up a meal on the way home for the family. We usually have original recipe, but recently we have been enjoying the crispy. She had to wait for it to cook, so I know that it was fresh, however it was dry, smelled like charcoal. I'm not sure if it was left in the fryer too long, or the grease was a week old, but it was nasty. It wasn't a total loss though, the cole slaw and the mashed potatoes were O.K.
