Jolly Tamale

First time here….We got the nacho deluxe, sancho, tamales, burrito deluxe, & funnel fries. All the food was ok. But it all tasted like something I make at home. The chips where a little stale :/ and the guy taking our order seemed like he was irritated when we asked him what was on things. Or what they where. The inside was closed so we had to go to the drive up window. And ate outside. (No big deal. But it would have been nice to go in and order so we could hear and ask questions 🤷🏽‍♀️) I might have giving more stars if the chips where better and the guy didn’t seem so irritated tbh.

I decided to drive across town and get my daughter and I dinner because this is her favorite. She goes there all the time with her friends too! Well I have been there several times when this one lady is working the window and she is so rude all the time. I just dealt with it and went on . My daughter went there and told me how this woman was really rude at the window. So I got there tonight and guess who was at the window. Rude lady. She was so rude o er the intercom I knew it was her. Well ne fleas to say we will never go back to that place again . Thank your rude employee don’t dare ask to add anything to the order . She has told me no 2 times. I’m not spending a dime there to be treated like that. The owner is sweet as she can be then you get that mean chic and ughh.

Ok so my stop at Jolly Tamale was a good experience. Ordered a sancho and also an enchilada both of them were quite tasty. Pricing was very reasonable. It was a great place to stop for a quick meal. Additionally I decided to go ahead and try one of these Mexican apple pies. Basically it's cinnamon crisps chips with melted cheddar cheese and also whipped cream sprinkle with Red Hots pretty good stuff.

I’ve been coming to Jolly tamale for years, literally. Today I went through the drive-through and asked for two sanchos and a pork tenderloin. I asked if I could have pickle on the tenderloin and she (I’m assuming the owner) responded with, “no you cannot“. I ignored it at first but then I asked why I could not have pickles and it turned into a literal argument in a drive-through about not being able to have pickles on a pork tenderloin. Then she told me I couldn’t have pickles on my pork tenderloin because it’s pork and not chicken…. Which made zero sense because I’ve always ordered pickles on my pork T here. At any rate, I drove off. Thirty years was a long time to be a customer, and I’ll never come back.
