Taco Gringo Clocktower

If you've never had Taco Gringo before, you're in for a real treat. We used to go to Springfield 3-6 times per year and would go to Taco Gringo EVERY time we were in town. It's a local food that really leaves you asking for more. I give the food 5 stars. The restaraunt itself is a little outdated and the bathrooms are less than perfect but seem to be in line with what one might expect from a small family-owned business. It's not bad enough to take a star off for. P.s. if you get the nachos, you should ask for sour cream and/or extra sauce because it's amazing. And if you're not sure what to get, go for a sancho. You can pick between mild, medium and hot sauce, which is another reason to love Taco Gringo.

I got really really sweaty felt dizzy and nauseous layed down woke up feeling like death crawled to the toilet and tossed it all up the tacos came all back out I chilled for a few minutes and drank a glass of milk and sure enough I felt 110%better. Don't know what the deal was never had that happen but the place has been starving for employees I hope corners aren't being cut cuz I'm positive I had food poisoning

Sat in the drive-through for over an hour. Had to make arrangements for family to go pick my child up from Girl Scouts because I couldn’t get couldn’t get out. When I finally got up to the speaker, nobody took my order so I pulled ahead thinking that it must be broken. There is no signage. Nobody is answering the phones. If there’s going to be an hour delay they should put a sign warning people before they get stuck in the drive-through that has no exit. Super upsetting situation
