Joe's Italian Pizza

The pizza isn’t bad, unfortunately their marinara taste like ketchup it’s way too sweet. I ordered a chef salad by time I got home and looked at it I noticed that they had just given me some lettuce with three little pieces of tomato and the smallest thing of dressing nowhere near enough. The lettuce was like rubber so it was way too old to be serving most likely left over from the night before. So I didn’t even get the chef salad that I paid for on top of that I got rubbery lettuce. So I was a little disappointed, is probably the nicest thing I could say. The cheese sticks are not cheese sticks. It’s a pizza pie with cheese on it and then they just cut it in strips. I’m guessing they don’t know what cheese sticks are. I really didn’t like them asking for my card number over the phone. They couldn’t wait for me to get there to pay for it for some reason. I highly doubt that I’ll be back for these reasons. I paid almost $40 for a pizza and what they call cheese sticks and a Styrofoam thing full of lettuce. In my opinion that was a total rip off. All I can say is save your money go somewhere else.

The pizza is great, but the service is shockingly awful. If you order a pizza during dinner hours, plan on waiting in your car for 30 minutes to get a cold pizza. At times, there are more than 15 cars waiting in parking lot to pick up a pizza, and despite all the business, they always have only one person taking pizzas outside. It is truly absurd.

Iv been going to this restaurant since I was a child when Bob and Agnes owed it and Jeff Cook pizza ill never forget my heart shaped birthday day pizza. My grandparents June and Sam segretto where loyal customers until they passed . I love the baked spegttie with meat sauce and sausage links and homemade Italian dressing I don't get to Springfield much now but this is and always will be one my very favorite restaurant.. if you have not ate there definitely go there
