Very disappointed in this location off Independence. When I walked in both the employees where in the back and walked out but didn’t say anything. They disputed over who would help me. I wanted their monthly specialty item (Caprese Grilled Cheese) it’s been the same monthly special for over a month now but the girl didn’t know what it was until I pointed out the large sign they have. I paid for my drink and food. The girl made my drink but then had to go to the back to get the guy to make my sandwich and he made it wrong. Neither one of them was very polite and seemed to be upset that I came in and they had to work. When I went back in there was a different employee there but the same girl. Again no one said anything to me until I started talking they just stared at me and the new employee was chewing gum.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe: Great little place if you’re looking for a potentially healthier alternative to ice cream or if you’re just a smoothie fan. Their Food (sandwiches and wraps) are great, tasty and delicious! The service is always fast unless they’re backed up which can happen sometimes in the afternoons. Love this place👌🏻

Sadly, this place is going downhill. I never used to have an issue, but the past couple times I ordered delivery, I received less than half of my order. The first time, the manager was super friendly and reimbursed me for my order. This time, the employee said her manager would get back with me tomorrow or whenever she can… it can’t be that difficult to reimburse me for only getting 1/4th of my order. I shouldn’t have to pay $20 for just a sandwich. I used to be a regular at this place and I can say now I won’t be coming back. The owner seems awesome. I hope they figure out their customer service issues.

I am very disappointed in the experience that I had today. I walked in to your establishment and greeted the workers with a smile, all I got back was a scowl from a worker. When I went to tell her my order she acted like I was an inconvenience I did not get a thank you after giving a 15% tip. The smoothie was good but it didn’t tasted as if it was made with love as the sign says, I was disappointed.

Don’t bother giving this place your business, went in 40 minutes before close to be told they had shut the kitchen down. Also they don’t answer the phones. Pretty pathetic service if you ask me. I’ve never been to a restaurant that stops serving the menu before they lock the doors. I’m going to assume it’s just because the employees didn’t want to make the food. Being that I called the location on sunshine and we’re told they didn’t start winding things down until about 10 minutes to close. It’s not even like they were busy. In fact my fiancé and I were the only souls there. I am really appalled. Honestly you probably have a better chance of McDonald’s ice cream machine working than you do of getting half decent service here. Would say it left a bad taste in my mouth but like I said, I didn’t receive food.

Some of the worst experience ever. I understand their short staffed but one of the girls working shut down food while we were ordering. Continued to yell about how backed up they were while the other girl was trying to be nice. My friend didn’t get her food and after everyone had left, one of the girls proceeded to take a phone call and started bad mouthing the client in front of us after she had hung up. Don’t think I’ll be back.

I was there on February 12. There were 3 ladies working. They were all complaining amongst each other about their jobs. One announced loudly, "ugh I have to work until 9!". They were discussing how only one blender worked. All the stuff they needed was broken or they were out of it. They went on and on, complaints galore. It was very unprofessional. I think I will take my business elsewhere for the time being.
