Steak 'n Shake

This restaurant has dimmed a bit ; what was a great burger is now only fair , the seasoning is blander and the condiments overpower the meat's flavor , I was a fan but today was a disappointment. The service was good , the restaurant was clean , the price was fair but I miss the great burgers. Maybe it's the drive through that makes the food more like an upscale McDonald's, perhaps the focus has shifted from quality to quantity, maybe the chef has a cold ,who knows . Btw , those were the skinniest fries I've ever seen.

Came home to our burgers, fries, and a skimpy cup of $3 chili literally all smashed into one overly greasy, small bag. Called and asked super tactfully and politely to see if we could get our order remade and was immediately put off by the guy's attitude. Ya, I'm not getting my food spit into tonight... Never coming back to this location, ever.

We went during the snow storm at the end of January. There were maybe 4 other tables when we got there, maybe 7-8 when we left... the amazing thing?? There were 3 employees running the place.... one was a server/cashier, one was the cook, and a guy was working drive thru. They were so good you wouldn't know there was only 3of them. Our server was amazing, calm, friendly, polite. All 3 of them worked very hard and they still had great attitudes!!! 👍🏼

Very fun experience. Our server Richard was a riot. He was helpful, knowledgeable and energetic. Stayed on top of his customers needs and service was awesome. The food was very good as well, hot and fresh and the milkshake was perfect. Great experience and will definitely stop again when we are that way.

We go to this location because it's right down the street from our house but we're definitely going to start making the drive to a different location. Our order has never been right unless we only get milkshakes and there could literally be no one inside and it still takes 15-20 minutes to get our food (2 burgers and two fries at most). Definitely need to restaff this location....

The burger I got was so salty I could not taste my drink. Unless my drink was flat as well. I only had a few bites and had to throw it out. My wife got the what they call breakfast tacos, look more like someone Blew their nose in a tortilla and called it a day. After only eating one and the over cook outside raw inside hashbrown had to run to the bathroom to expel it. Unless you are on a purge diet I do not recommend eating here.
