I’m Going 5 Stars here by the simple fact the manager- very visibly pregnant- training the young woman last night (2/28)was remarkable. I watched her as she greeted and took orders, ran food and all the while prompting the trainee how to take care of customers, pre-close etc. This woman was wonderful. She kept her cool and maintained a level head throughout our stay. Now, the food. Very good! I went Pick 2- 1/2 Savannah chopped salad and 1/2 Reuben. Very very tasty. Hubs ordered the delicious broccoli cheddar soup and the steak (a little well cooked, but seasoned perfectly) and Gorgonzola salad. ALL of it was wonderful. We’ve steered clear of McA’s for about 2.5 years after a few unsavory meals. We were craving salad and gave it another shot. So happy we did!

If you are local and this is all you know about deli then I understand why you think this is five star and worth the price. But these sandwiches are overpriced and not worth it. Almost $14 for a meal (sandwich and side, NO DRINK) and it was small, soggy and definitely hyped for no reason. All I have heard since moving here was how good these sandwiches are just to be thoroughly disappointed. Back home I can get a foot long, packed with meat, toppings, drink and a side and for $9 and I’m never left hungry!!! Not a fan. Also kids chicken broccoli meal HAD NO CHICKEN … rip off.

I placed my order at the counter at 12:19pm on a Wednesday, needing to be at work at 1pm. It took LITERALLY 45 min for my food to arrive. I ordered a choose 2 with spud max and french dip (which I always order). I had to call my work to tell them I'd be late 30 min which I hate doing and this is what ended up at my table. A sandwich with hardly any meat on it and a cold baked potato that was also supposed to have black olives on it. They gave me a spoon instead of a fork. I was extremely unsatisfied with my experience today.

The food is delicious. I had The Jalapeno Turkey Crunch. It has smoked Turkey, jalapeno spud chips, which gives it a good crunch, bacon, pepperjack, fresh avacado & mayo on a toasted jalapeno roll. The chicken dumpling soup is as good as mine. She had The Grilled Chicken Salad with Grilled chicken, moist seasoned & tender,bacon cheddar jack, tomato,cucumber & croutons on mixed greens with balsamic dressing which she loved. Both meals are pictured. We will be back. Service was great for being short staffed.
