417 Taphouse

Somewhat disappointed. The food was okay, some was good, some not so much. For example, the Table-size Twisted fries were cold when they arrived at the table (I'm sure they were great when they were warm). More disappointed in not being able to taste a brew, before deciding if I want to buy a pint. We should not have to buy a 5 oz pour glass, just to toss it away if we don't like it (wasted beer). Working as a brewer at another brewpub, we never charge for a taste. Now if someone wants to taste 5 beers, we would just recommend a flight purchase. But there's no charge to get a shot glass sized taste. I guess my recommendation for others, know what you want to consume before going in, or be ready to fork out some cash for samples.

We went to a brewery Downtown and I was not happy with it. it used to be such a great place, so disappointing! We were looking for a place to continue hanging out and hopefully end it on a good note. We chose 417 Taphouse and I am so happy we did! this is going to be our new go to. Lauren you were the best!

Lauren and April are the best bartenders downtown! Also great food and a great happy hour. Oh and if you're about craft beers you can't find anywhere else, Taphouse is the place to go. Also has 4 or 5 pinball machines, a shuffleboard table, and a bunch of free board games. Oh and a free NES system to play!
