Afghan Kabob Restaurant

Wow is all I have to say. Came for dinner as a date night and EVERYTHING Literally EVERYTHING was AMAZING. We were seated immediately and we were given complimentary green tea that was hot and delicious. We went all out and shared an appetizer and entrees and desert. Each course was better than the next. Cool thing is that they have a whole new menu out next week. The owner was amazing and told us that they will have a full bar soon. You really were made to feel like a good friend who came over for dinner and not a customer. I can’t wait to come back and see the changes. If you are curious about trying Afghan food you can’t go wrong here. The menu clearly explains in English what wonderful delights are coming upon your order. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere and a wonderful experience. I was shocked at how good this was. Not that I care, but for those that do there was an entire page of Vegetarian options! If that is your thing this is an very easy place to enjoy something tasty.

We've lived in the area for a couple of years and finally gave Afghan Kabob a try. Wow! We were missing out! We ordered the Peshawri Chaplee Kabob, the chicken Palau Kabob, the Sambosay Goshtee, and the Mantu App. Ordering online through the website and picking up was very easy. The chicken kabob was very tender, loved the rice. Lots of flavor in every dish. I couldn't wait till the next day to finish the leftovers. This place will be in our take-out rotation :-)

One of the best foods I have ever tasted. The service is superb. The staff are friendly and attentive..This is a wonderful place to go to tastes the deliciousness of Afghan food. The owners are hands and super welcoming. If you are in the Fairfax Station, VA area and want a real treat.. if you ever want to host an event they also have a beautiful event hall.

We had our son’s birthday party here, it was an amazing experience for him and all our our 35 + guests, the food was excellent, the service was perfect, they let us decor the stage to match the restaurant relaxing interior design. Overall my son would remember this event for ever as far as our guests, they loved it. Thanks to Afghan Kabob Restaurant incredible team.
