Food tasted great and our server at first was accommodating. The restaurant wasnt too full for a Friday night, but our server didn't really tend to us. We waited for our food to come out for 45 minutes and we had to immediately ask for our check and to go boxes so we didn't miss our play across the street. By that time, the restaurant was completely empty and our server didn't bring our check until at least 10 minutes later. Overall, good food - worth the price, terrible service.

The restaurant, although casual is really filling. Jovina our server was really friendly, was really prompt and patient being that this is our first time there at all. I will be coming back, maybe with my mom, my grandma, maybe with a girlfriend. To sum it up, I am coming back. As downtown places fill up quick, definitely make reservations. Just go on their website, email them, and they will set one up for you easily and readily. As for the review, the pictures will speak for themselves so there is no need for a tedious explanation. Yesterday was my little brother's birthday and today we celebrated. Update, I was here with my brother again and my mother on the 21st. My mother ordered a deluxe taco salad, I ordered a Burrito Dos Amigos, and my brother ordered tacos authenticos, the food left all of us full paired with complimentary chips and salsa. This aplce still deserves a premium review. Update, third time I have been here and I will keep coming back. Our waitress Olivia was an awfully sweet lady. I even tried my greetings in Spanish. She was cool. The tacos we ordered were bomb. They will beat the conventional out of the box place or even tex mex or even Taco Time. This is my favorite place and I will be back again.

The food here can be a bit pricey at times, but you certainly get your money's worth. Most plates have very large portions, and the drinks here are astounding. The kitchen staff does a an excellent job of ensuring the food comes quickly, presented in a very authentic manner. Only reason that the restaurant does not receive full marks is that there tables and chairs are slightly dated, although I personally feel that this adds to the character of the place.

I am giving a 3 because I have been here once before with coworkers where I had great food and service, but recently went there with my brother and Dad and while the food was great again, I experienced poor service. We had 2 male employees serve us, one of which seemed to be acting as the host also for the night and the other the bartender. Both were nice enough however when we first ordered drinks my brother ordered 2 shots of whiskey and a glass of ice to pour them over in. The bartender brought him the two shots but with a giant soda glass filled to the brim with ice. I commented on this asking if they had bar sized glasses to give my brother to pour his shots over where the bartender said of course. A while later he brought a smaller glass but also filled to the brim with ice. This is kind of a minor detail but a knowledgeable bartender (or barista) would have had a little more common sense to making drinks and would only have added a few ice cubes so the customer could sip their drink, not crunch on their ice until they get to their shots. Another thing that bothered me was when I received my food I did not get the refried beans that came with the meal. I politely asked our server if I could get that which he said would be no problem. I waited another 10 minutes before the next time he came my brother asked again about the beans. Again he said he would get them. Another 5 to 10 minutes went by and again found myself asking a third time for them. So by the time I actually got them I was completely finished with my meal.
