Saw some friend’s band play here. The PA wasn’t amazing, but the sound was good otherwise. Beer seemed fairly priced, and you get to hang out at 2002’s best music venue.

Awesome spot for drinks, great staff and people. It's a pretty small place and the live music was a bit much and way to loud for how small the bar is. Other than that, it's a solid 10/10

I was in here a couple weeks ago and it was pretty cool! The bartender was super legit, the pool table was clean and the overall atmosphere was unique. It just has a good vibe to it!

Love the "Downtown Mix of Folks" @ Mootsy's. Music was Great, itchy Kitty debuted a new song... they totally killed. And I liked the other bands, spaced out on their names at present, but they were worth coming early... And they fun, too.... 8>)

Downtown Spokane's quintessential dive bar. All of those new bars you see opening up claiming to be a dive bar? I guarantee the owners of the place got their inspiration from a past visit to Mootsy's. Pitchers of beer and shots of your favorite liquor is the drink of choice promptly poured by one of their seasoned bartenders. Then over to a game of pool while you plug in the next music selection in arguably the best jukebox in town. If the pool table is gone then find a spot and get ready to rock out to the garage band preparing to burst every happily intoxicated patrons eardrums. If your looking to tie one on Mootsy's is your place. No nonsense straight forward drinking and fun.

Could smell a lot better. Casual place for a beer and meeting up with your friends. Staff is generally nice. Has gone down hill a bit lately. Bring back dollar beer Weds!

Is what it is..If you're reading reviews looking for "That Spot " this isn't it. On the up side, if you're looking for a good drink at a good price with good people, this is exactly the place to be. No pretentiousness, and honest folks. The music is exactly what you need and the company is exactly what you'd expect.
