Worst pizza I've ever eaten. First of all, they're not Italians. Italians know how to bake pizza. I just wanted a tomato mozzarella pizza and it was all watery. They put real tomatoes on it and the pizza was soaked through very quickly. Not a crispy base as you usually know it. We ran out of gas and had to get something to eat. Otherwise I would never have entered this restaurant. The basil was wet and no longer recognizable. The taste was awful. I can only recommend Alfonso to anyone in Sommerville. Drive a little further and you'll have the best pizza in the area.

Classic pizza shop vibes! Service is fantastic! Food is average price and very delicous. Inside is a bit tight, but gives a nice "hole in the wall" pizza place feel! Been going there my whole life, and always get treated with a warm welcome and friendly conversation! The workers are not afraid to meet the attitudes of the customers, especially the rude ones. If you're rude, they won't want you back, and will verbalize it! The one star rates are the rude people. Take it from a pizza vet!
