The best restaurant without doubt . I always eat here while in Calahonda . Customer care , ambiance is excellent . Their Parmesan wedges you would get up in the middle of the night for ..... This restaurant is a hidden gem ! It should get a 10 out of 5 rating in my opinion
Amazing service from start to finish, with the brilliant frontline staff who really know how to make you feel welcome. Our first visit and I can say it won’t ever be our last! - even though we may not come back to the area, we will certainly be stopping off for this little hidden gem! I stopped in to grab some tapas. I was surprised how big the inside dining area was after seeing the front dining area. So you can bring a large family there for a great dining atmosphere. The 4 mushroom bruschetta was a first for me, but it was done to perfection. We also had the crab cakes, traditional bruschetta, and a mango marinated chicken, and blackened chicken. They have a great choice of wines, but it was a nice hot day out so we opted for the cold beer on tap. Highly recommend the 1 min drive off of the A-7. The owner was very friendly as well as the chef and the staff. Can’t wait to try more of their main dishes next time we visit!

I came here for lunch and decided to start with the Tapavino Sample Tasting Tower which consisted of 7 delicious and different tapas.
The tapas was served beautifully on a 2 storeys slate tower with different kind of meats like sole, duck, egg, serrano and mini burger but also different vegetarian options like potato salad and bruschetta. All served with different kind of amount amount cream and sides.
After the towers we just had to try more dishes and dessert. First the seared yellowfin tuna which was very delicious and tasted very japanese.
The first dessert we had was a delicious Créme Brulée made with chocolate and as a second dessert we had a very very delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding with a lovely Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce.
The service was absolutely excellent and very friendly. We felt very welcome all the time we was there and it was easy to book a table by contacting Tapavino on Facebook.

Amazing food. Really friendly staff. The wild mushroom medley is highly recommend.
UPDATE We have just had the Six course Tapas and wine menu for the first time since the new owners took over. The food was just as great as with the original owners and the front of house staff were well informed and could discuss each course and matched wine. The chef and kitchen staff worked so hard and produced delicious food.
I'm not sure if the new owner was there tonight but he didn't come and meet any guests unlike the original owners.
To sum up, if you love high quality food and willing to try anything then please visit, you won't be disappointed.
UPDATE June 2019 - I understand that some of the staff including the chef, no longer work here so I can't confirm that you would have the same experience.
