The Society Lounge

The atmosphere here is amazing imo there's an outside area that's very spacious for you to socialize and for cute pictures 📸 the DJ for the brunch event I went to was amazing he played new and old school and gave a variety of genres. The only thing I would say needs help is the service and I only say that because i feel like they might have been understaffed during the time I was there I ordered my food three times before receiving it but I was very satisfied when it came and the space to eat your food at a round table with multiple people needs some work. Overall my experience was a 4/5 stars I would go back and recommend it to others. Enjoy

Attended during their brunch hour. I had the Boss Lady cocktail, oxtail w/peas and rice, which I do recommend. Ordered their Caribbean egg roll which I thought was good. Had a taste of the fried catfish and grits. Atmosphere was great. Their was music was playing so it gives it a vibe in the day time. Staff was very pleasant as well.

An enjoyable experience at the Society. I didn't expect to be carded and have my wristlet searched, but new places, new rules. Brunch resy at 1pm. No wait and was seated right away. The vibe is lively and youthful. Nice sized crowd for a Saturday afternoon. The DJ was a nice touch. Our server was polite. Cocktails were refreshing. The shrimp app was my fave bite of the adventure. Sweet and Spicy delicious. On our table, Chicken & Waffle, Chicken Dinner, and Bailey's French toast. Everything was seasoned and flavorful. Chicken was juicy. Mac n cheese was on point. I was satisfied. The food was delicious and filling. I would recommend and I would return.

As at Feb 2023 the rooftop area is being renovated and closed off. Server was particularly great this evening, she went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. They only have limited menu after certain time at night but finding a seat was for a group of 3 was relatively easy. This place used to be super pack but they now have a few competitors nearby plus ongoing renovations.

So me and my friends came here tonight out the blue and they were renovating the upstairs so only downstairs was open and the security informed us that it was completely booked and we need a reservation or have to wait. A Jamaican lady I believe is the owner came out and told him to allow us to wait inside and not outside in the cold. Within 5 minutes she found us a table. Our waiter came right over with waters without us asking and gave us a menu to order. The Grand Mariner Wings were good. The Boss Lady drink definitely sneak up on you. I will definitely return hopefully the upstairs is open they say its more of a lounge vibe but the DJ downstairs had the whole restaurant hyped.
