Excellent and friendly service. Beef and lamb kebabs were very delicious. Kubideh was also good, if a hair on the dry side. The pumpkin and eggplant sides were superb. The spinach was good but not the best I have had. The hummus is good, with a lot of sesame flavor. The atmosphere is casual, but nice enough. Prices are as expected for the area and style of food. They also have hookah that one can use in the cute outdoor area (I didn't try it) which is reasonably priced at $20. Overall, a good local place for Afghan-style kebabs and other dishes.

This is by far 1 of the absolute best food I’ve ever had!!! And I just got the veggie kabob and samosas! As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed great energy from the chef to the owner and the green eyed lady at the front who even called me to verify my order. The chef killed it!! I couldn’t even talk or watch t.v I was too busy enjoying my food!! What makes this place special from the rest, is that the food here is made with love and the people are too! Truly Authentic! I was visiting my family and we decided to try this casual restaurant near my brothers house. What a treat! All the dishes we tried were fabulous! I live up in the Boston area where there are many Middle Eastern type restaurants, and being Armenian, I know good food of this kind when I have it! We tried a couple of Dumpling Starters, Mantu which has ground beef and onions and Aushak, which is filled with spinach and onions both topped with lentils and chickpeas, yogurt sauce and sprinkles of dried mint. YUM! For dinner we tried the beef and chicken kabobs. The meats were tender and nicely seasoned with aromatic spices. It comes with delicious rice from Afghanistan that is cooked so differently it's fluffy and very tasty, yogurt sauce, salad and warm naan. We also had sides, chick peas in a lovely flavorful sauce and spinach. Cilantro sauce also accompanies each meal. They have all kinds of kabob platters and combos. Also offer Wraps & Gyros. I wish we had room to try their Baklava - it looked perfect! If I lived in MD, I'd definitely include Chopaan Kabob in my rotation of places to eat. The food is very fresh, made in house - you can see into the kitchen. It's clean, has plenty of parking and outside patio seating. And to top it off, it is so reasonably priced! They have take out and catering as well. We loved meeting the owners, such very kind and hard working people. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Today me and my wife visit this place. It was a really delicious food we found. I love their dumpling, beef and chicken platter especially the rice was really really delicious. Highly recommended for all. The big challenge part was the price. It was expensive but worth of this kind of delicious and best food served. If they control on the price it will be much easier for everyone to access. Other issue is the weekend timing. They closed on same regular time 9:00pm. If they open till late hours it I’ll be helpful especially on Friday and Saturday night. Overall food was best quality and have a great taste. And highly recommend to visit this place. Everything is HALAL.

Let me first share that as an Iranian American who grew up eating authentic home cooked Persian food and kabobs by my talented mama, I am a harsh critic of kabobs. I was amazed when I tried their food on how delicious and juicey their kabobs were. The combination of afghan spices with just right amount of cooking and not too oily was a pleasant surprise. It’s an affordable and convenient option for us local busy folks who don’t often have the time or chance to visit our “mamas” or to try to attempt to grill kabobs.
