The couple that basically run this place are so adorable. The food is great and the bent over backwards to let us dine in after an unfortunate situation dealing with the rampant credit card fraud in the area lately. Looking to get married soon or luck with a proposal? They recommend you sit in the table at the far left with the white tablecloth. 😉

Staff was great our waiter, maybe the owner? Was really friendly and attentive. Brought us a few things on the house and the portion sizes are extremely generous for what you pay for. Reminded me of family owned Italian restaurants in New Haven, simple good food without spending all your money. The house red was easy drinking and slightly complex, really pleasantly surprised , and they were very generous with their pours as well. Really affordable and worth the money.

My girlfriend and I ate at Vicino the night after my mom and son, based on their review, and we were as thrilled as they were! Great food, amazing service. We got there as they were starting to close up and they stayed open for us and treated us grandly, with some delicious extras that we didn't even order. We would go back in a heartbeat.

First impressions location is not bad located close to a heavy traffic street. As soon we enter we get greeted and due to a big group just sitdown before us host Hala told us is going to take sometime to get our orders, we didn't have any hurry so decide to get a table. The bread and oil herbs was good (very tasty oil and the bread smoking hot) love it. Then we get our main course cheese ravioli ( supper tasty and yummy) in the pink sauce OMG amazing sauce, plus shrimp marinara with linguine (marinara sauce was definitely homemade) and some cheese garlic bread ( love the amount of garlic) and end with desserts. One of the lovely italian dinner I have craving for some time. Customer service was absolutely amazing, food was amazing and the dessert to die for. I will definitely return and share the place for future dinners.

This is old school italian restaurant. If you want the old family local vibe, solid food, and exceptional service then come here. They knew their customers by name. They treated us like old friends. They do the little extras - free cheesy bread and ice cream at the end and shook our hands at the end and thanked us for coming!! Honestly the nicest experience I have had in ever or a long time and I used to run a restaurant. Go here if you aren't expecting fancy but want to eat great food, big portions, and an atmosphere like you are at your best friend's mom's house.

A simple restaurant with incredible customer service and flavorful menu choices. The food was prepared to order, arrived hot, and was so tasty. Ingredients were fresh and portions large. The service was great, we were greeted, provided a complimentary appetizer and received attention without the servers hovering. This is a nice spot to grab a quiet lunch or have a celebratory dinner with friends. I'll be back!
