Dairy Queen

I had a strang feeling dealing with the counter person. From my experience it told me he was new. I made my order, took a number and sat down. Instead of a flame thrower double burger I got a chicken breast sandwich. I had fries and a shake. The problem was quickly resolved. Dairy Queen is my place for fast food due to serving Purnell Sausage Company products which was my former employer. I didn't expect to pig out that day but I didn't need anything to eat for the rest of the day.

Most disappointing Blizzard I’ve ever had along with terrible customer service. Ordered a butterfinger blizzard and as he handed it to me thru the drive thru I instantly noticed it just looked like a cup of ice cream. I said excuse me , this was suppose to be Butterfinger blizzard, I took my spoon and dug down and flipped the ice cream over and stirred it up, there was one tiny piece of butterfinger in it. I showed the guy in drive they and he said “sorry, we can remake it for you.” He turns and walks away and talks with someone then comes back a few minutes later and tells me that they can’t remake it, that I’d have to pay extra for more topping. I’ve worked in fast food places, I understand portion control and things have measurements etc. this was not the case. The amount of candy was near zero. I left. If I want Dairy Queen I’ll go to Eminence. Much better and not stingy.

My family and I have been visiting this DQ for years at it has always satisfied. Seems the service has been bit off recently, but the drive-through line moves quickly. Use to like the older gentleman (from Louisville) who managed this place--he seemed to be able to keep the young'uns in line with quality assurance.

Went in today to try out the breakfast burrito with chicken strips and when I got home my burrito looked like it was just thrown together in a hurry (pictures included). I know they are not a taco/burrito place but the least they could do is wrap it correctly. I love DQ and always go but they need to train the employees properly on how to wrap the breakfast burritos.
