Good vegan food in Queen Anne. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and were both pleased with the food. I got the portabello sandwich and she had the lentil burger, both with "cheesy" potato soup. The staff was friendly and very accommodating when we had questions on ingredients, even showing us an ingredient list for the soup.

I appreciate Chaco Canyon as a cafe -- it's spacious and has fair prices for coffee drinks as well as interesting home-brewed kombucha varieties. There is a play space for children and seats with outlets. As a restaurant, however, the prices are high for the small portions of dishes with very cheap inputs (think chickpeas and potatoes on rice or quinoa): a "large" salad is at best an appetizer, and the grain bowls are quite shallow. The lentil burger is $15 and bowls are around $11, and I don't believe there were ways to augment a grain bowl, e.g. side of black beans? Finally, the flow of the restaurant could be improved: it's not clear that meals are also counter service, as only the coffee drinks menu is posted on the wall behind the counter where you order. It would be clearer if the entrees were also posted on the wall behind the counter.

One of my favorite cafes in Seattle! You do not need to be a vegetarian/vegan to love the food here-- it's all amazing! I always get the Hippie bowl whenever I go and it does not disappoint!

Incredible. All organic. I had the "breakfast burrito" in a bowl for lunch. Perfect avocado, generous portion, vegan. Also the Egyptian red lentil soup. So lucky to have a healthy, tasty option on the hill.

Takes over 10 minutes to make smoothie? I was the only person there when I got there. Took two orders in the middle of making the smoothie w/o multitasking. Owners need to have more than one person working at a time and plan ahead with peeling the avocados before freezing them.

The drinks here are subpar and you can definitely go else where for a much better drink at the same price point. Took the barista ~15 mins to make two iced americanos and an iced chai. Saw her fill the americanos up with tap water from the sink used to wash dishes. Cutting her some slack because it was apparent she was new (overheard her ask the other girl how to make an americano).

Got the half order, house salad. It was a nice light sweet dressing. I also got the pb+j with apples to go with it. Quiet when we went in there. Nice adl sized bathroom.
