I can't believe I passed by here every day for years and never tried it! The name is deceptive. I had really yummy oyako donburi made just for me! It was still quite warm when I got it back to my office, which was nice! I gave it 4 stars since some prices are a bit high, and a couple times I have tried to go there only to find they randomly closed in the middle of the day.

My favorite Cafe in Seattle for almost a decade. They have amazing homemade food. Prices are very fair for meals and drinks. Lunch is about $11 for salmon don. I love that they play classical and that it's a local family business.

Family run business, the atmosphere is really lovely for tea and books. The main dishes are a little pricey but tasty. It's a nice little place if you like to be cozy. The service is also friendly and my food came fast.

Family run, great food. Don't let the name fool you; this place has awesome Japanese food. Get the salmon don. Delicious. I haven't ever had any of the bakery items, but I have been told those good.

Good food at competitive prices and quirky decor, you get your own utensils and drinks and they give you the food quickly. Closes a little earlier than I'd like, and is a little small. I haven't tried the bakery yet.

Good food with decent prices. The place is relaxing and unique since its family owned. The owners are very nice and do offer good suggestions if you don't know what to eat.

I was an international student at University of Washington until several years ago, and this is one of the places that I miss the most about being in Seattle. Amazing food and great service. Hope they are doing well :)
