Fantastic sushi here. I got the salmon avocado roll and the salmon nigiri, and both were incredible. Many sushi places in the area tend to skimp a bit on salmon, but not here. Good, hearty pieces of salmon that tasted fresh and delicious. They were also very friendly when I went to pick up my food. Great prices for caphill area sushi as well. Would strongly recommend.

Tasty salmon sushi! I got the New York Roll and it was delicious. Miso Soup was very tasty as well. Slightly expensive but in line with Seattle prices. Would return!

SUSHI MAKI IS THE BEST !!! i have been coming here since 2015, and it’s easily become my favorite sushi spot in all of seattle. min and jin, the owners, are absolute sweeties and put so much hard work into their business. their small takeout-only shop is cozy and welcoming with a friendly atmosphere, and even friendlier service. food is ready quick, and never compromises on quality, the sushi is extremely consistent and delicious. i like to order the salmon lover’s combo, with a side of avocado roll - i don’t trust the nigiri at most sushi places but the cut of fish is always perfect at sushi maki. i could not recommend this place enough, and always tell out-of-town friends to stop by if they’re in the capitol hill area. i love you sushi maki ❤️

This place is small but not to be overlooked. Their maki is so fresh and tasty. I’ve been getting the salmon/avocado and tuna/avocado. I love this place.

This is our go to spot whenever we want any kind of takeout. They're always friendly, the food is made quickly, and the sushi is always delicious!

One of my favorite sushi spots in Seattle, maybe I’m biased because I live right above it too so the location is super convenient 😂 the sushi never disappoints! I think I’ve tried half their special rolls now and they are all so good. The sushi bomb roll servings are enormous, I couldn’t finish mine in one sitting lol.
A thing to note - they are closed on weekends, & sometimes they close unexpectedly (things they can’t control like a water issue or taking time off etc) and would leave a note at the door. I don’t know if the close online ordering if the store is closed, but maybe I would advise calling ahead first to make sure you can get your sushi fix.

This hidden gem is definitely the best sushi place in Seattle - the rolls are stuffed with fresh fish and ingredients without the sauces being too overpowering. And the price is really good, especially if you go for the lunch deal. The owners are a married couple and super sweet :)
