Good price, tasty. Many topping selections that you can make. I recommend you to get the thick noodles.

Ordered self choice noodles with chicken broth, Shang dong noodles,bok choy, mushrooms, and dried tofu skin. The broth is light and yet flavourful. This is exactly what I’m looking for in a noodle soup as a veggie lover but not a vegetarian. Will def come back often.

Was alright, not much of the meat toppings in the soup. Not much taste to the broth either as far as flavor or seasoning, but it was still good enough. Looks like a Mom & Pop place, so gonna have to go & try a different soup combo or another item to judge the place better.

Hands Down best food Ever. Order the chicken rice for sure. Amazing flavor. I love it!!! We ate everything.

Solid Chinese Spot on the Ave! Went with the Kung Pao Chicken and it was GREAT - really hit the spot and filled my craving! The wontons in chili oil were FIRE too, great starter/app! The Kung Pao meal was a solid size and it was delicious! I would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for yummy Chinese food! Staff was nice and prompt when I ordered - limited parking!

The 4 of us all ordered different soups with different types of noodles and flavours and so we got to taste all. Very tasty for sure! Spiciness was as announced and perfect for us. Not crowded at all on a black Friday. The only down side was the sticky table and flooring. Restrooms were clean.

I LOVED my lunch at Zen Noodle.
I ordered the Super Noodle Combo, in which you can create a custom LARGE noodle bowl with your choice of:
- 1 soup broth
- 1 type of noodle
- 3 toppings
- 3 vegetables
- 1 egg
And all for the VERY affordable price of $10.95!!! Crazy!
What's more, besides the normal noodle toppings like braised beef and meatballs, they had a lot of the "weird" toppings I love. (Like beef tripe, pork intestines, pork feet, and more!)
Besides the custom Super Noodle Bowl and Hot Pot options, they also have an extensive menu. (See pics.) Next time, I want to try the Salty Pork Tongue and Pork Eat appetizer... mmmm....
Zen Noodle has an unassuming exterior door, barely any decoration, and around 10 small tables and would probably be best for groups of 4 or less. The noise level was at just the right volume for comfortable conversation. They were around half-full with customers when I came in for lunch on a Tuesday.

Zen is my favorite soup place on the Ave. I almost always get the Original Spicy with flat rice noodles, braised beef, broccoli, fresh tofu and spinach. The beef is always so tender and melts in your mouth. I always finish the whole bowl of broth! Great for cold days and this comfort food always picks me up when I’m feeling down. :9
I never want this place to shut down.
PS. I’ve had the Szechuan spicy broth and it was a little too hot for me.

Decent price and nice service. The soup base is good. Just the egg is a bit more salty then I expected. Overall, I like this place.
