We used to go in the before times (you know, when you could actually eat in restaurants.) Now, we get takeout once a week or so. Delicious. They are great about some customization (I'm particular), super fast, and convenient. If you are in the neighborhood, I definitely recommend them. Chicken katsu, yakisoba, teriyaki. All has been good.

Fast and overall tasty. The ramen was good but not too impressive.

Food was excellent. Service was super quick and friendly.

Food is pretty good and unassuming. The tonkatsu was a little too hard for me, probably because the meat slices were too thin. But overall a good experience.

I ordered the tofu teriyaki for 10.95, which came out of the kitchen in under 3 minutes and was absolutely delicious (great crispy skin with silky tofu inside). Would recommend!

Average informal Japanese, the kind of place that has one of every basic Japanese dish that you see in the US. Service was very courteous, efficient and quick. The food seemed proper (based on my minimal experience in Japan and Hawaii), and would absolutely be in my lunch rotation if I worked on the area. It was also a good antidote to less than stellar Japanese food in Phoenix the prior day.

Had the Miso ramen with chicken and it was yummm!

Stopped in on a Thursday night for a quick dinner before a show in the neighborhood. Had the chicken teriyaki/gyoza combo plate which came with miso soup, a side salad with tasty dressing, and 2 scoops of rice. Also got the sweet & spicy karaage which was really good - crispy, tender, and tasty sauce. It was SO MUCH food, I probably ate an entire chicken for dinner, and it was all very good. I got there around 7, there were a few other customers dining in (all took leftovers home) and a lot of people picking up takeaway orders. Service was swift and the person working there was really nice. I would definitely come back - they have a lot of udon and ramen options and yakisoba noodles that I'd like to try.

We found this restaurant during a walk in the neighborhood near work. Very unassuming, simple, clean and understated family owned restaurant that's serving amazing home style Japanese food- almost under the radar. We have tried many restaurants in the Belltown neighborhood, from whole in the wall to new fusion places all the way to restaurants in Amazon's HQ area.
Moon's Kitchen is unique service simple Japanese menu options and well prepared dishes with prompt service. After few years trying several restaurants in the neighborhood, Moon's Kitchen stands out as an amazing lunchtime favorite for simple menu, generous portions and sumptuous taste.

I liked the interior of the restaurant and could feel Japan while eating.
