Retreat is my Favorite Coffee Shop in the Green Lake Area. They offer a wide variety of Delicious goods including meals. All of their cuisine & Espresso is worth trying. This visit I had ordered their Black Bean Breakfast bowl. This is an amazing dish. From the egg, guacamole & beans. I highly recommend this location for all Coffee Lovers and people visiting the Green Lake Seattle Area. Thank you & God Bless Retreat!

Love their smoothies and lunch meals. Always so delicious and a great place to meet friends. I had one unfortunate experience with a barista unable to confirm if the drink she made me was caffeinated or not (and didn't seem concerned or interested in fixing it) but just one experience so won't let it taint all the rest

I love retreat. It is my go to spot when I just want to chill and hang out with friends. It’s big and spacious so it’s easy to meet up with people. I often crave the green smoothie and the chicken and greens bowl. I’m also a huge fan of the staff there. They’re super nice.

Super cute vibe with decent food and coffee. My dogs and I ate breakfast on the patio a few days in a row and everyone was super nice!

I lived in Green Lake back in the early 2000s, when this location was a Safeway parking lot. I returned a few days ago with my wife, and we were looking for someplace to have breakfast before walking around green lake.
Retreat was delightful. It has nice outdoor seating and a view of the soccer field and lake. The service was fast, and the avocado toast and grilled cheese (esp. the latter) were delicious. Also, they made a cute bear face in my wife's hot chocolate.
This is still a delightful neighborhood 15 years later, and this is a great place to grab breakfast if you visit.

Best tomato soup ever, matched with an incredible grilled cheese. Vibe here is the best and at the end of my lunch, grabbed a coffee and walked around the lake, perfect combo if you ask me. Also the quinoa bowl was delicious

I loved my retreat bowl, it’s vegan and super delicious. Husband felt like sandwich is too small. Busy on weekends, but we found place to seat. Coffee is also tasty 🥰
