Decent place for Indian food in the city of Seattle if you don’t want to drive to the Eastside. Tried their lunch boxes, chai and pakodas. Saw plenty of pickups while we were dining. They also have lunch buffet.
Food - 4/5 average taste, decent proportion
Price - 4/5 reasonable
Service - 5/5 fast and friendly
Ambience - 3.5/5
Located conveniently in the busy ballard neighborhood with somewhat easy parking options.

When we went, it was navratri time so they were playing a beautiful Aarti which made out day even better. The food was amazing and they had a great server to help us with our choice of food. Naan was tasty and paneer was yummy too. I also got extra green chilies on special request and they only charged us for 1 tea instead of 2.

The lunch buffet is back. My favorites of Butter Chicken, Daal, Tandoori Chicken, Naan and a few other classics. Just as good as before.

Just came back from the most lovely meal! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was all amazing. We loved the buttery nan and fluffy pilaf rice. I ordered the paneer tika tandoor - and it came out sizzling! The experience reminded me of our local Indian at home in London, and we mean that as such a compliment. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Lunch specials are fantastic and the people who work here are very nice and accommodating. The wait for takeout was fast (but not too fast haha). Loved the saag paneer and the chicken tikka and portions were good. It's a delicious and filling meal for a good price from nice people. Highly recommend.

Good portions (we got takeout, enough for two meals), good flavors on the lamb and fish jalfraizies, and DELICIOUS fluffy Jasmin rice with turmeric and cumin! Owner or manager was present and friendly. Looks good for dine in as well!

We hired India Bistro for their catering services for our wedding reception, and we really enjoyed working with their team. When we knew we were getting married, it was obvious right away that we wanted to have Indian food served. It’s our favorite cuisine! India Bistro is really close to the Golden Gardens Bathhouse, where we did our wedding reception, and is easily accessible to most of the greater Seattle area. Mukesh was responsive the day of our reception, and helped us to set up the best menu for our guests well in advance. Their team does great work, you can see the effort they put into their catering services, and the food was excellent! Every single dish was top-notch. If you need your next event catered, we would recommend India Bistro.

Had lunch today instead of waiting in long lines at the Ballard Seafood Fest. They were offering amazing $12-14 lunch specials with 2 mains plus rice, naan and mini samosas. Food was super fresh. Every time we eat here, it is delicious
